Well made stainless steel grab bar
Fair price for a well-made stainless steel grab bar. I like the fact that the anchoring plates were made of thick stainless steel on both sides and that the grab bar itself is of heavy duty stainless steel material. It was nice that there was texture to the middle of the grab bar so it is less likely you will slip when you grab the bar. From my experience, if you install this outside or in a bathroom with water exposure, it is possible that traces of rust may develop where the anti-slip grip bar is located but only time will tell.Installation process is very quick and easy. It took less than 20 minutes to install this grab bar. It is very nice that there are more than 3 holes on each anchoring plate, which makes it easier to install since you can get to any of the holes easy and you do not have to screw down every single hole for it to be sturdy.This grab bar can be installed anywhere you need a grab bar (I.e., bath room) or my case I installed it as a grab bar for my RV staircase. I would recommend getting the 18 inch if you plan to mount it vertically, and the longer bar 24 inch if you’re mounting it horizontally. No matter where you install it will function as a solid and stable grab bar.

Very well made grab bar
This real is high quality and sturdy. I haven’t installed it yet, but I can see by the parts that it will be very simple to install. It’ll help me a lot. It seems to be of the same quality as those I see in public restrooms, so I doubt it will rust, though it’ll be mounted outside of my shower, making it much safer for me to get in and out. The texture is exactly right for grip without sanding callouses off lol, and the finish is good. It should be easy to keep clean. Highly recommended.

Not high fashion but it is high function which is PERFECT!
This bar really helped me in my shower off of her stable based help me get in and out of the shower. I put it right on the wall outside of where the shower door is when I push the curtain back. I can hold onto it and then get out of the shower and it really works beautifully. It’s not high fashion, but it is high function.

Premium Quality Stainless Steel Excellent Grip
This is a premium high-quality grab bar. Much better than the pictures show. It is made of stainless steel which I wanted for the shower environment. It isn’t going to rust. It is very thick, a real handful, and provides a real sense of security when holding on to it. The knurled finish only makes the grip that much more secure.It has a hidden screw design that is well thought out. The covers over the screw heads snaps into place tightly.This is such a nice piece I would have no problem having it mounted anywhere in the house where needed.I highly recommend it. For the price versus quality it cannot be beat. Much better than ANY plastic grab bar.

Excellent quality and design
I got this to install in my parents bathroom, only to discover that they already had one installed. So I decided to install it on the deck by our pool because our pool stairs are old and the hand rails are long gone. Even though the rail is 304 stainless steel instead of 316 (which is suggested for marine or outdoor use) I went ahead and installed it in the 4×4″ deck upright using wood screws for outdoor use. It’s working out great!!! The knurled handle is so much safer for wet hands to grab. The flanges snap on securely to cover the screws and it looks nice by the pool. My husband has tried his best to see if he can rip it off the deck, but it’s still holding on strong. This is a solidly built hand rail, and I would highly recommend it for its intended use in a bathroom. Two thumbs up!

Package was taped up, not in new condition
This grab bar is solid and well-constructed. The knurling is precisely cut to enhance grip, but be smooth and comfortable to the touch. No sharp edges. It looks as good as any grab bar I’ve seen and I’ve had no problems with it.The only complaint I have is the packaging was taped up as if this was a returned product. It’s a minor issue for a product like this, and the hardware and instructions were present, but when I order a new product, I expect to receive a new product. If I had paid for this grab bar rather than receiving it through Amazon Vine, I would have returned it and ordered again to get a new one simply as a matter of principle.A price of $40 for an 18” bar at the time of my review is fair for the quality and utility it provides.
