Customers say
Customers find the knee wrap effective, particularly after knee surgery and during rehabilitation, and appreciate its snug fit that wraps around the entire knee. The product provides good comfort, is easy to put on and take off, and stays in place with its Velcro straps. The ice retention receives mixed feedback – while some say it stays cold, others report it doesn’t stay as cold as expected.

Elasto-Gel hot/cold knee wrap
These are very nice; they work well and stay warm for quite a while. They are soft, easy to use, and comfortable. The Therapy Clinic I went to uses this brand so I decided to get some for myself to use at home since they were so nice. 😊 They heat up quickly in the microwave. Doesn’t take very long to heat them, so be careful not to overheat. I put two knee wraps (which I use for my shoulders and back and they work quite well for that) into the microwave at the same time and they fit well because we have a large one so I don’t have to fold them in half or anything. You can fold them though if you need to. The first side I do for 90 seconds and the next side 80-85 seconds. We have an old 700 watt microwave so it will vary for newer ones.As others have said, if you attach the velcro to the fabric itself to keep them in place it will make the fabric pill and it won’t look as pretty and might eventually tear it (my feeling), so I try not to do that. I did it once and I decided not to any more if I can help it. I also attached the two velcro straps to each other so they don’t stick to the fabric by accident which happens quite easily. The straps can be handy to have since you can wrap them around yourself if you’re sitting in a chair and it will stay in place better. That’s why I haven’t cut them off.Good product.

Worth every penny!
This is my 3rd wrap I’ve purchased from this company because they work! I use them for repetitive stress injuries as well as joint replacements. Best cold pack because there’s no water or ice needed and they stay cold and in place with the Velcro straps so I can be mobile if needed. Easy to use and lasts for a long time if taken care of properly. Worth every penny!

Very flexible material
I love these cold packs. This one is for my knee. It has a space in the cold material for the kneecap. I appreciate this as a different cold pack was so stiff that it hurt my kneecap and I couldn’t change it’s shape. This Elasto-Gel is very flexible and wraps around my whole knee, giving cold therapy to front, back and sides. To return it to it’s zip-lock plastic bag, I roll it up. Also, to keep all the surfaces nice, I fold the Velcro in on itself so it does not grab anything as I move the straps around. The straps provide the ability to add some compression.I also have an Elasto-Gel for my ankle. Both ankles and knees are difficult to apply cold packs to because they have such rounded forms and varying angles. Elasto-Gel does it so well for both body parts.

Really nice
I love these things. Honestly, I do and I know that sounds silly. But for months I had made do with some cheap cold packs from the drugstore, which kept springing leaks and fell off easily besides, despite having straps. These packs (I liked the first one I bought so much I soon bought a second so I could do both knees at once) are SO much better. As others have said, they go all the way around and they cover the entire knee area, both above and below the kneecap. And while you can’t really walk around and have them stay in place, they will stay on for short moves to let the dogs inside from the back yard, or to get a drink of water from the fridge. The soft covering feels nice and you can put the wrap directly on the area to be chilled without needing a cloth of some sort to go over it. The temperature is cold, but not so cold it gets uncomfortable the way ice can (I keep them in a freezer set to 0 all the time, FYI). As for durability we’ll see, but I use them 5 days a week after exercise and the first one has held up well for the first month, nor is there any sign of wear or potential problem areas yet.

Great Knee Wrap After ACL Surgery
I had ACL reconstruction 2 months ago, and after being sent home with some cheap ice-packs, I knew that something had to give. The ice-packs didn’t cut it for me, and the issue with some of the gel-type packs is they just don’t last very long. After going to physical therapy for the first time, the therapist wrapped my knee with something that seemed to hug my knee and had a cool and slightly euphoric sensation. After searching for about a week for the wonderful product that was placed on my knee, I finally found it!The good:This thing works great.. really, really great. I noticed after using this for a week (instead of the old ice-packs), my swelling went down much faster than it had in the previous week. I could actually feel the coolness from this, and it wraps my knee like a glove. The best part is that you don’t have to put anything between your skin and the wrap, as it is designed to be used with direct skin contact. I have found that this wrap keeps cool for about 30-minutes, which is more than enough time to get your knee chilled. I also found that it is very comfortable to put on, and it doesn’t scratch the skin, or get uncomfortable after an extended period of time (such as falling asleep with it on at night). The bad:I wish there wasn’t bad, I really do. I still think this is a great product, but it does have some issues. My first issue is that the stretchy material on the outside could be better in almost every way. It is stretchy, which is nice, however the gel insert inside can flop and fold itself all around within its own enclosure. It’s like if you had a sheet of silicone inside a pillow cover, it could just flop however it wanted to inside the case. Another issue with the stretchy fabric shell is that the velcro on the end of the elastic bands (used for holding the wrap in place) can easily snag the fabric, and often do. My last issue with this wrap is one that I never thought I would have an issue with, it is too big. I ordered the Large/X-Large since I am a large man, and I honestly found that it overlaps itself in the back by quite a bit. This isn’t a big issue, but just know that the large is very large.Overall, I am quite pleased with this product. I know the cons look bad, but they are something that can be dealt with. I would not hesitate to purchase this again if needed.

Great gel pack – long lasting
I got one of these 12 years ago after using it for PT, and would still be using it if my husband hadn’t borrowed it for a race weekend and gotten it wet and deformed it. They work well and last a long time if properly cared for.

This product isn’t made very well. The gel inside slips all over and ends up in a big lump on one side of the blue sag that is the cover. It was a gift for someone who has a really bad knee and was embarrassing when he opened it and put in on and the gel was moving all over and wouldn’t stay in place even after it was put in the freezer overnight😤
