will work perfect for what I need
I have had work done on my home and looking at the new thresh holds, I began to worry about the time when I need to order a new refrigerator how they will fare when an appliance as that has to travel over them. In my search, I even saw a comment from a mover who stated in his 19 years in moving, he is now getting concerns from customers about moving heavy objects over the thresh holds. Makes sense as they do not make things the way they used to, and imagine a dented thresh hold where you can no longer properly close the door. I ordered the one piece to see if it would fit over my new French door thresh hold and if fits great. So, I have ordered a second one as one only 15″ wide is not going to work with a 24″ wide hand truck. Unlike other ramps I looked at, there are no screws to be placed in, just place it over the thresh hold and because it works as a pair, the weight of the item is manageable. And because it works as a pair, one can customize the width for wheel chair use. I looked at cheaper shorter models of ramps, but in my opinion, the longer 37″ is needed for stability. I can understand how another may have difficulty if using a manual wheel chair, especially in my age group of 75, as one commented on because it is about 3″ high with only 17″ on each side of the height creating a challenging slope for many unless some muscle could be put in it. I, with balance issues, have walked over it myself, no problem and I could see how well a walker, ele chair, scooter would do well using this ramp.

Rubber Wheelchair ramp
Nope, not good enough for a manual wheelchair. The edges are too high to maneuver. Height too great for a short distance. The ramps need to be longer with less of a slope gradient otherwise the wheelchair will fall backwards.Otherwise, thick durable rubber, heavy enough for heavy human and chair. They seem durable. But, we still can’t use them.
