Amazing glasses, the only brand I wear.
I love these glasses! Used to buy Optix 20/20 then they stopped making them. I’ve ordered a couple dozen of these because I break them constantly. I need real glasses but have never gone, so I’ve used these for a couple years and I can see clearly, no headaches or eye strain. Some issues with cracks at the point of the glass and bars that go to the ear, but just a couple pair. Please don’t stop making these. I think people judge them to harshly for a 10.00 pair of reading glasses.

Good high quality reading glasses!
I needed to buy a pair of reading glasses for a family member in his 80/90s with a magnification strength of +4.00. I want you to know it’s not easy buying for someone else, especially when they have no idea of the style or design wanted and say ‘just do it’! Fortunately, the decision was easy once I found this pair. The frames are almost identical to his current prescription glasses. With the exception of these being a different color/coating, these are perfect! The magnification is accurate & clear for a 4.0 reader. He likes the frames, the arms length are good, the vision strength is good, they fit comfortably, and they appear well made and durable. He’s also shocked & delighted at the same time that the frames didn’t carry a hefty price tag and should he need a stronger strength he knows where to go. The only negative…. It doesn’t come with a case. Otherwise, he highly recommends!

I purchases the Calabria 1106 Metal Pilot reading glasses. They’re comfortable and clear. However, buyers should be aware these glasses DID NOT include a case as was indicated in the “questions” portion of the item description. To me, the case is an important feature in order to protect the glasses and should have been included. I deducted 2 stars.

Best reading glasses I’ve every owned.
I used to get the executive from Optic 20/20 but they are difficult to get. I got these and the lens is twice as clear, they are tough as nails, and they look great on women or men. They are slightly larger, but I have a big head, so they work out. For women, a larger size is very fashionable. The gold color looks very classy they are tough, dropping rh.over and over, even on the lens, it wouldn’t scratch them on some surfaces that the Optix glasses would have been scratched. Love the price, because if they are damaged, I can easily replace them, plus they are easy to clean. Thanks so much, my new favorite glasses, I will be a repeat customer – I drop them a lot. Lol

Lens is poorly made
I’ve been having to use 2 diopter glasses for a couple of years. Two’s allow my old eyes to see as well as I did as a child. I still have my old 2 diopter glasses, but they’re only half frames and I wanted a large full frame. The local stores have been out of the big ones for several months. So, I ordered two pairs of number two glasses from this Calabria company. They fit fine and the frames seem sturdy, but the lens are terrible. They are indeed marked as 2.00, but it’s like the plastic lens’s are warped or wavy. When I look through them it’s a bit like looking through water. The world is distorted. If I wear them too long I get a headache from them. I’m back to wearing my old glasses. They may be only half frames, but at least the world looks good again. I was and am disappointed.

STURDY
We bought these for a Dwight Schrute Halloween costume and did not realize they were cheaters (our bad). So we decided to just break the lenses out and use the frames. I am not sure what they make these lenses out of, but if you are actually using these things, you will not be disappointed in their quality. It took a half dozen mildly intoxicated adults and some tools to effectively break the lenses out of the frames. I am talking just to scratch these things took some effort. Very impressive!
