Customers say
Customers find the cup holder to be a great quality item that works well with the NITRO DLX Rollator. The fit and installation receive mixed feedback – while some say it fits securely on the rollator and is easy to snap on, others report it doesn’t fit and is difficult to install. Moreover, the stability is concerning as drinks fall out easily, and durability is poor with multiple reports of it breaking off. Additionally, the size receives mixed reviews, with some saying it holds drinks perfectly while others find it too small.

Well worth it- coffee delivery!
Arrived on time. I love the product. Well made, I don’t know what type of plastic, its a bit flexible and not brittle and study- no fear of hitting the wall and breaking it. It fits tightly on the oblong bar just between the seat and where the back support attaches to the frame. I don’t think there were good instructions, but I put one side of the “C” shape on the bar first, then rotated/snapped the other side on. It clicked on tightly and no fear of coming off. It swivels a little horizontally so you can move it in towards the side to prevent knocking it on door ways, etc. There is also a little tilting adjustment you can do (not sure what for). There is a slot which allows for carrying cups with handles, and my 12 oz coffee cup. All in all a great product.

good cup holder, pluses minuses about where you put it on the walker
specifically designed to fit/clip on the inside or outside of the painted upright bar of the Drive Euro Rollator/walker, rotates around a flat axis from front to back; fits standard and slightly oversized cups or water bottles but is not particularly tall; made of strong material. Only problem is that when it is attached to the outside of the upright bar the cupholder makes the whole walker an inch or two wider than normal so it is harder to fit through doorways as this catches on the door frame. When it is attached to the inside of the upright bar, it encroaches on the space between the uprights and pokes you where your butt goes when you try to sit on the seat. Might be a better place to position it but I haven’t found it yet.

Works great once installed.
The only issue is that it’s hard to get it installed. I thought I might break it before it would snap onto the frame but it does work. I guess the tight fit means it will stay in place. Once installed it works great. If the cup holder seems loose, there’s a 4mm hex screw accessible from the bottom that may need to be tightened.Update: After about 9 months the screw that attaches the clip pulled through the plastic and the cup holder fell off. I ordered another one but the clip on the new one is noticeably narrower than the old one. I was able to install the old one fine but I cannot get the new one to snap on. Not sure if the new one is just faulty or if they modified the design.

OK in concept; poor in execution
This device is designed to fit the unique frame profile of the Drive Nitro rollator, which is, by itself, is a great product. This cup holder is quite a different story. It clips onto any vertical segment of the frae, staying put by friction. The holder can be moved around by simply applying some pressure to one of the arms of the clip and easing it off the frame. Once relocated, it stays put.The device is designed to allow the holder and the drink (bottle, glass, small cup) to (1) be swivelled horizontally forward, sideways, or backward into a position accessible to the user. This feature works OK.The device is also intended to allow the holder basket to swing in a roughly vertical plane so that the drink itself says vertical and therefore does not spill its contents. HOWEVER, the design of this feature is faulty – a FAIL in a pass/fail grading system. The failure occurs for a single reason – the swivel mechanism is flimsy plastic. To tighten up the rotation (I.e., to “lock” the basket into a steady position in which the cup doesn’t relocate itself because of its weight), one must tighten a screw accessible from the frame side of the device. It’s impossible to tighten it enough to prevent rotation, so the full drink rotates and cfalls out of the holders basket and dumps on the ground. Attempts by me to solve the issue by adding a lock-washer led to my previous use of the word “flimsy.”. Tightening the screw to clench the lock-washer resulted in the screw-head pulling all the way through the clip. That was that for the entire assembly. And all of this destruction was accomplished solely with common hand tools. In summary, this device would have gotten FOUR STARS if the mechanism hadn’t let me down. And it would have received FIVE STARS if the basket was a bit larger in diameter. But I still love the my Drive Nitro rollator, a device I’ve previously reviewed.UPDATE. I noticed another comment on this product citing the same criticisms I had. I finally decided to enact the “kill-or-cure” approach. I disassembled (hex key tool) the frame clip from the cup basket, applied a thin coating of Gorilla Glue to both of the mating surfaces, and re-assembled the two parts. The clamping force of the screw held the surfaces in close contact while the glue dried. HINT: get a good idea what angle you want the basket to be re: the ground, because once the glue sets, that’s the angle it will be at unless it breaks or goes into a recycling bin. It solved my problem with it, but as the product ships, it’s still a ONE STAR device.

A great little cup holder for the Drive Nitro. It rotates to help with transport in the car.

La idea es muy útil pero el mío salió defectuoso. Se vence y hace que las bebidas se derramen.

I bought this for my Mom initially as a ‘gag gift’ for her. My siblings & I bought her a Drive Rollator 2 years ago & was great for her. She’s in her late 80s with mobility issues that have plagued her for years & the Rollator is her friend & yes, she also loves the cup holder. It’s a clip-on that is solid & will not fall off. The Drive Rollator model that she has arms that are not round but rather some what flatted so this cup holder is made for it. The holder is also on a swivel to position it to the user.

The holder fits the Nitro perfectly, without affecting the hand grips. Been reliable holding full cups of drink. Arrived promptly.
