Inexpensive but very sturdy
Just needed a small extra support grab bar near a stairwell and this did the trick. Very easy to install and seems very strong for such an inexpensive grab bar. I did switch out the mounting hardware to screws and anchors that I trust, since sometimes items like this save cost by using low quality fasteners. But that’s just my preference. Looks good in matte black color too. Recommended.

One end of one “hand hold” was defective, rendering one unit unuseable!

Got this to use as a hand rail for the outdoor step on our front porch. I attached it with Gorilla glue to a brick wall. It works great.

Nice looking accessory
Using as a balance helper on corner post of deck where there is one step up to surface. Screws aren’t as long as what many “safety grab bars” (for tub and shower) are. But I think this is all we need.Looks nice. We used the pair to have one each at opposite corners of the deck where most likely to step up. Installed vertically. Tip: since the fastener plate has to be already attached to the handle when you install, make sure you have oriented the 3 holes in the plate so that your power or manual screwdriver won’t rub against handle (or hole ends up directly underneath the handle 🙃) when you attempt to drive the screws in. Then you just slide the trim plate over to cover the fastener plate (watch video posted with the item information)

Needs different supplied anchors.
The anchors did not work on my garage wall. When I screwed into them, the anchors slid through the hole and fell at the back of the wallboard. I think the anchors were too narrow, causing them not to ‘grip’ the drywall ‘hole’.Luckily, I had some old anchors of my own that fit and worked great. It attached very solidly. And we love the ‘grab bar’ itself – looks great.
