Probably very good for most people
I broke my back and for several months have only been able to sleep flat on my back. I want to be able to roll over on my side and it hurts to lay with my hip down but it exerts too much pressure after so long. I bought the egg crate because it is supposed to absorb the pressure but for me it didn’t help. If you want a good egg crate for normal use this is a comfortable one.

Great transformation
This bed topper is a game changer. It can transform a hard, uncomfortable, dated mattress into a good night’s sleep. I have bought three of these for different bedrooms and will buy more as the need arises. There was no initial (or after) smell, was easy to install, fit perfectly. The thickness was just right. I am a hot sleeper and this breathes, it does not retain heat. The original mattress made me sweat all night long but with this egg crate topper, I sleep comfortably.
