I should have included this item in my initial order…
The pressure pad works as I had hoped, but the battery power did not last long. Once I made the adapter part of the system, it’s worked wonderfully. I do wish the cord between the pad and the alarm was longer to reach the other side of the bed.

I used this with a bed alarm and it gave me peace of mind that I didn’t have to rely on batteries.

A must have for bed exit alarm
Absolutely buy this to go with the secure bed exit alarm. The exit alarm will sound every time someone moves off of it, and when it is being moved to change the bedding, etc. Batteries will last no time at all. Use the batteries as a backup in case of a power outage. That is such a good option, but buy the adapter.
