Accurate, Compact, and Amazingly Convenient
This little device turned out to be way more useful than I expected. The Govee’s Wi-Fi feature lets me check temperature and humidity from anywhere, anytime — super handy when I’m away from home. The data logging and customizable tracking are smooth and easy to use.It’s also a lot smaller than I imagined. I thought it would be the size of a small alarm clock, but it actually fits right in my hand — about half the height of an S24 Ultra.If you care about keeping tabs on your environment, this is a solid, reliable choice that feels worth every penny.

Great visible screen with small foot print
I have an MHK2 thermostat for my Mitsubishi Heat Pump and the display doesn’t light up when you walk by so that the current temperature isn’t easily visible. I needed something small and simple that would display these things without needing a plug, etc. What’s great about this device is that it fits all those criteria, uses batteries and I mounted it under my MHK2 thermostat plus I can use it to check the temperature and humidity remotely using the Govee app. It has shown temps very close to that of the MHK2 itself. Connecting it to Wifi was easy and intuitive with the app.

Fantastic! Works great!
Got this for a Northern vacation home to alert me if inside temp drops (i.e. have furnace problem). VERY easy to set up (I’m almost 70). Tested out and works great- app pings me with a message that temp is outside the range (low and high) that I set.

Seems like app vrs product issue…needs some tweaking
It was easy to connect to Wi-Fi and it was easy to connect to my two heaters. However, I set up auto run on the thermostat for the heaters and I keep having issues with either one of the heaters where sometimes the heater won’t kick on and other times the heater won’t kick off. One heater might be 6 feet away from the Wi-Fi thermostat and the other heater might be about 10 feet away. However, it’s a clear path to both heaters. There is nothing in the way. I originally had the Bluetooth thermostat, however, I was under the impression that it would not work if my phone wasn’t close by and that’s how it seemed to be so that’s why I bought the Wi-Fi thermostat however I’m starting to think it was a waste of money. I have other Govee products and I’ve had no issues with any of them however, this Wi-Fi thermostat I seem to have issues with it, staying connected to the heaters or the heater is working properly according to how I have the auto run set up on the thermostat. Still undecided, whether to keep it or return it.Update: Govee contacted me through Amazon this morning, here I thought they didn’t care about the customer yet I found out they had reached out immediately yet I never got the message because I had recently changed my email address. Anyway, issue has been resolved. As for this product, I think the issue lies between the app, thermostat, and heaters. Don’t believe it’s a WiFi issue.Still prefer Govee products, wish they had more, and looking forward to what new products/options they come out with!!!

Ease of Mind
Love this thermometer. It’s in my newborn’s room and he is a hot sleeper right now. I’d lose so much sleep getting up to check the temperature. Now an alert gets sent to my phone if the tempertaure is below or above what I set. There is one from Govee that is just bluetooth and cheaper but I don’t regret getting the Wifi enabled one.

Exactly what I wanted
Bought this for my office at work. The building never keeps a consistent temp so I can check it from home and dress accordingly. Easy to use and set up. You can even set a temperature alarm to get a notification if it gets too cold or too hot which is great.

We have 3 and love these. Having out buildings where we like to monitor temperature and humidity we’ve found these work great. Also have one in a feral cat house during cold months to insure the heated cat bed is working.

Updated 11/1/2025:There is one more thing to praise Govee for is excellent customer support. After I published my review, they contacted me and offered an unconditional refund, i.e. they did not ask me to update this review. Even though the device is way out of the warranty. It is great to see the company standing behind quality of their products!Original:On a good side, it does what I needed it for: remote temperature and humidity monitoring, with alerts when parameters go out of expected range.I also like clear minimalistic design.What I disliked: it suddenly stopped working after 2 years.What I dislike the second: getting current readings remotely is painfully slow.Would I buy it again? – yes, if I don’t find a better alternative.
