Definitely worth the money I paid
I like this product but I ordered the one with the wrong gauge because I didn’t understand Gage and now I do so I have to order a different gauge but other than that it’s a nice little deal especially it’s so very inexpensive

Nice standard style lancets at an affordable price
Nice lancet kit with a good amount of disposable lancets.Easy to set up and use, and they’re nice and sharp.No noticeable pain and the lancing device has a good range of adjustability too.Small and compact and should fit in any meter case.

Never mind that, read the review
We’re all familiar with the phrase, “You had ONE job…” and that’s the situation here. A lancing device is supposed to project the lancets into your finger for a blood sample. This Pro Comfort Lancing Device with 100 pcs Blood Lancets looks like a well made product. It really does. It’s a little difficult to get the top off to insert the lancet, but with use, it may get easier. The top comes off and goes on with about a half twist. That’s a nice feature.The lancets themselves are easy to use and easy on your fingers. I can hardly feel them. Back to the lancing device and why this is a one star. I tested the lancing device empty a few times and it worked well. Then I put in a lancet device and it failed to fire. After several attempts I took the top off an manually held down the lancet holder (for lack of a better term) and was able to get the device to fire again. But, then it didn’t work after that. Then it did. Then it didn’t. Then it didn’t. Then it didn’t. It seems I got a defective device which is now broken, or at least unreliable.I decided to exchange it for a new one to see if I just got unlucky or if there is a quality control issue. If the next one is defective, I’ll come back and update this review. It it’s good, maybe I’ll let you know that, as well.Update: The new lancet device is working very well. It has performed flawlessly a number of times, so I am confident that my first one was a production error. The company replaced it with no problem, no excuses. Also, at the number 3 setting I mostly don’t even feel the lancet, yet still get a good blood sample. Good product.

Works for me to get enough blood so no complaints
I followed the directions and first tried this on depth 4. That didn’t go all the way through the skin and I eventually hit on a depth of 5 1/2. The device only goes up to 6, but I have rather tough hands so I thought that 5 1/2 sounded reasonable. It wasn’t painless, but it wasn’t bad. I’ve used a lot worse. It took a little massaging and encouraging to get a full drop. I’ve tried it a handful of additional times after the first and I find it easier to use than I did the first time.I’ve seen a couple of complaints that these come in a box only and not a plastic bag as well. I’ve looked very closely at the lancets and the needle is fully encased in the purple plastic until you break the plastic and pop the covering off. I am not worried about these not being sterile.

Small yet reliable
I was skeptical when this came in because it was so small that I thought it wouldn’t lance my finger. It did a great job and worked perfectly. It is pretty easy to load up, they give a decent amount of lancing inserts that simply click in. Once it’s loaded you just set the depth and press the button. It’s smaller than the one that came with my glucometer which was perfect for storing this in my case.
