A Lifesaver for Digestion – Gentle, Effective, and All-Natural Relief!
I cannot say enough good things about these NOW Foods Peppermint Gels—they’ve become an absolute staple in my daily wellness routine. If you’re someone who struggles with bloating, indigestion, or that uncomfortable heavy feeling after meals, these little capsules are a total game-changer.I started taking them regularly after dealing with frequent digestive issues—mainly bloating and occasional stomach cramps after eating certain foods. I wanted a natural solution that wouldn’t upset my system or require prescription meds, and peppermint oil kept coming up in my research. Enter these softgels. The peppermint oil in these gels works wonders. Within 20-30 minutes after taking one, I feel my stomach settle and the bloating significantly decrease. They seem to help relax the digestive tract, which eases that tight, crampy feeling. What I love is that they include both peppermint and ginger oils, so you get that extra soothing benefit for your stomach (ginger is great for calming nausea too). It’s like a one-two punch for digestive comfort! One important note: these are enteric-coated, which means they don’t dissolve until they reach your intestines. That’s key, because it prevents any peppermint burps or that overpowering minty taste you sometimes get with other supplements. They’re gentle on the stomach and don’t cause any weird side effects for me.I usually take one right before a big meal or anytime I feel like my digestion needs a little help. Whether it’s after a heavy dinner, traveling, or just those days when your gut feels off, these always deliver. If you’re on the fence about trying them, I highly recommend giving them a shot. They’ve made such a difference in how I feel day-to-day. Honestly, between supplements like this and my regular Amazon purchases, I should be a Vine reviewer by now!

So good I keep them in my nightstand
I’ve been using these peppermint gels for nausea, and they’ve been working really well. They have a slight minty scent but I find it pleasant. Something must be working with the peppermint and ginger combination, helps calm my stomach and I haven’t noticed any side effects. They’re also small little softgels so they are easy to swallow.

Tushy tingle
This does seem to be helping. I’ve been on it for 3 days and my digestive pain is subsiding. But…today I made a trip to the toilet and wondered why it smelled like toothpaste. I hadn’t brushed my teeth in that bathroom. Nor do we usually use that bathroom for tooth brushing. Well, it wasn’t toothpaste. It was my poop. So just be aware this may happen. It also made my tushy tingle. Very peculiar. But not altogether…unpleasant? Anyway, I’ll keep using to see if it continues to help and if that happens again.

Taste
Updating from my last reviewI have IBS and no gall bladder ordered for bloat and to reduce the frequency of trips to the bathroom. It caused constipation for a few days and I realized I wasn’t drinking enough water when I was taking the pills (def do at least 8 ounces with each serving) now two weeks in I am seeing what people are talking about with the taste. Every time I burp it’s an overpowering taste of peppermint and it isn’t pleasant like a breathmint it’s potent like pure concentrated peppermint oils. It’s not enough to deter me from using them as I am seeings more benefit from them than cons and I have lost three pounds in the last 2 weeks of use (def a decrease in appetite and the bloat is finally subsiding) so I’m hoping with an increase in water intake the burping peppermint aftereffect will subside

WORKS for stomach issues without side effects!
I have had IBS for years, but recently had TREMENDOUS stress and my stomach was so bad every single day and in so much pain I thought I had developed an ulcer. Gas, extreme bloating and pain all day, everyday. My gastroenterologist prescribed me a drug that would relax the muscles and spasms in my system to help control symptoms, but it came with a hefty list of side effects. I always prefer to handle things naturally if it is at all possible, so she said we could try Coated Peppermint first. I was skeptical that it could really work, but tried it anyway. This particular brand of supplements is one I have used before with other supplements, and it was extremely cost effective, so I gave it a shot and WOW!!!COATED PEPPERMINT WORKS! I take it twice a day, at least 45-60 mins before I eat (bottle says 30, but I found more time to be better), and my symptoms are 75% better. That doesn’t sound like much, but it feels like a LOT. Plus, NO SIDE EFFECTS except the occasional peppermint flavored burp. I actually felt a cooling sensation in my gut after taking it. You never actually taste the peppermint, as coated peppermint doesn’t open in your stomach…..it is coated so that it opens in your intestines instead, which is better for soothing spasms and calming the gut. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. MUST BUY.

I had been having IBS problems for years. I tried all Indian and Ayurvedic meds for IBS but nothing worked. I was mostly on Immodium most of the time. Finally I tried this and glad to to say it is really helping to controls my IBS symptoms and best works when taking half an hour or so before meals. The only downside of these meds for me is that it’s makes the body bit lathargic or relaxed or sort of sleepy which makes it difficult to continue with normal job and work at times unless you began to get use to if it. But since its helps in IBS symptoms and does not have any actual side effects to body otherwise so it’s definitely worth using it!!

Enteric coated which means it won’t do its job in the stomach. It’s not what you want. Especially if you have acid reflux. Also, I took one and saw it’s effects. Reduction in gas and bloating and pain
