Great alert system! Simple! Easy to set up!
YES! This call system is exactly what we needed! My husband has trouble walking and when he is on the other side of the house, he’ll either YELL for me to come to him or shuffle across the house to where I’m at. I’ve tried walkie talkies, but, they are bulky and he won’t carry one around with him. SO, when I saw these, I knew they were the answer!I placed on of the call buttons (SOS) in the garage where he relaxes, and the other, by his bedside. I placed one receiver in the diningroom, and one in my office. The receivers can pick up the signal from 40′ away (one end of the house to the other).There are different melodies to choose from, but, I’ve not figure that out. Anytime I go to change the tune, it defaults back to the original setting. I don’t care about that because I’m not going to sit and listen to the music, I’ve got other devices that can do that, besides, this doesn’t play the notification sound at length.It comes with instructions, but, they are typical, you have to figure things out for yourself. For instance, what type of battery and how to change it on the call button. Gee whiz!The batteries are underneath a shield that covers the back. The ‘shield’ has a slot where you can attach the lanyard. To remove the shiled, slide it off the WIDE END OF THE CALL BUTTON! Once the shieldis removed, you can use the cute little screw driver they supplied to remove the three screws, pull off the cover and viola, there you will see the 23A 12V battery. While the back plate is off, go ahead and attach the lanyard.I love this for its siimplicity! It is an alert mechanism, it is NOT two-way communication. It simply alerts you that there is a situation for you to investigate quickly.There are slide buttons on the side of the reciever that allows you to change the tunes. The receiver plugs into a wall outlet.I highly recommend this product for value and performance.

LOTS of Ringer Tones
I got this for my folks who love across the street. The goal is they have the transmitter buttons and I have the remote ringers. These operate just like wireless doorbells, except you can put the ringer buton on a lanyard to be worn, or kept in a pocket. You can program each button to one of the many ring tones – after picking a tone, you press and hold the middle button on the receiver then press the red transmitter button. Each transmitter can be separately programmed to different tones. Each transmitter triggers both receivers at same time, and each can be programmed to different ring tone, even for same transmitter.

This wireless nurse call system works very well. The buttons are nice and not overly sensitive, so they will not ring accidentally. The silicone button requires a definite press to activate, which helps prevent false alarms and keeps everything reliable. Because of that. I will give you 5 stars!
