Very versitle!
I really enjoy these dry erase boards. Cuts down on my use of paper. I stick them everywhere I need to write stuff. Desks, walls tables, fridges, notbooks, clipboards, etc. The sticky-ness only last two placements. So if you stick it to the wall and then pull it off its not going to stick with the same adhesion. But if you are readjusting it it shoud be fine. Its vey smooth and it needs to be adhered to a smooth surface aswell. Great for kids and explaining math. This can also be repurposed as giant labels.
I have no idea what the carpet is like because my order was screwed up! Still waiting for my refund! Thanks for nothing Amazon! –

Great for the price, but…
Let me first say, I got the 78”x17”, and my final price also had a coupon that made it only $9.This is a great value for the money, given you are working with a really small budget. As you can see from the pic, I’ve put it onto the mixed material (not sure exactly what) sliding doors for my closet. Added some small pieces of hook & loop tape onto the markers to hold them in the top left corner as you can see.The size for the price is unbeatable to be honest when it’s this cheap, but let’s be clear that you need to put this on a flat, nontextured wall, otherwise expect the adhesive to “not perform as expected”. These doors have an ever so slight texture on top, but not enough to affect how it holds. I put it on alone but it took me some time and reapplications to turn the 78×17 into 39×34 for the door. I managed to do it pretty seamlessly without a gap between the two halves. I had some additional leftover because the door wasn’t wide enough, and I put that on my desk to take quick, easy-to-erase notes. Momentary notes, if you will.The markers feel like they are going to dry out a fair bit quick, but they are a nice addition for the price and have done well so far. If you are going to clean this, you need to buy some sort of lens cleaner, like the Koala brand you can get on Amazon, to be able to clean it with just the cloth. Otherwise get some proper whiteboard erasers.If you are getting this for constant usage, and you need it to be reliable, I would recommend going elsewhere and getting a normal whiteboard. The applications for the adhesive aren’t too wide, but in a small application like mine, or the sliding doors of your kids room or something similar, it works pretty great.

Does not clean properly
I was a school teacher for over a decade and used many white boards. After years of use the boards would begin to not be able to clean and would leave ghost writing that would not come off. The photo attached is of the first time I used it and tried to erase it. I used Expo brand dry erase markers. After I tried the dry erase eraser with my marker kit I purchased, I used the special white board cleaner and it still will not clean completely. It’s not super expensive but I expected it work correctly.

Misleading Product Description, No Instructions, Not Easily Repositionable.
I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately, it’s a huge disappointment. The product claims to come with a user manual mine didn’t. Because of that, I had no idea that I was supposed to:- Unroll and let it flatten for 24 hours- Apply it one corner at a time, not a strip.- Use two people for installation- Thoroughly clean the surface beforehandNone of that was communicated. The listing also says it’s “easily repositionable.” That is absolutely not true. The adhesive is strong enough that it’s unforgiving, but weak enough if you do get it to peal off good luck getting it to stick again. Once it sticks, if you get a wrinkle it’s permanent. You might be able to get some of it out but you’ll never get all of it out.After the first one wrinkled so much that it was unsalvageable, I purchased another one. It also did not have a user manual so the exact same process happened. It should be noted that I am an electronic engineer, I’m not stupid, this product just sucks.This ended up being a frustrating waste of time and money. I would 10/10 not recommend this product to anyone.

Fantastic product!!
I honestly love this. I first ordered it because I wanted to turn my classroom cabinets into whiteboards, but it was so easy to cut to size and apply (and remove and reapply as needed) and works so well that I ordered it two more times. Now another stretch of wall and my desk are dry-erase as well! I don’t feel bad about buying this repeatedly because it’s so cheap. Eventually, I think I want to use this to make every desk in my classroom dry-erase, but that’s a big project, so I’m not going there just yet.Other dry-erase markers work and erase just fine. Some smudging from a couple colors, but that’s no different than my “normal” whiteboards. It can be a little tedious and annoying to get it to apply to the surface just right, so set aside some time if you want it to line up perfect with no bubbles.

Great to have on my office area wall. Taught for 32 years so I need white boards!! Bought another one which I will probably place on the laundry closet wall, just in case I need to teach duplicate bridge lessons to a small group. Happy to have my spare. Also put some in my workspace at the bridge club. Very handy.
