Well made, priced well, simple assembly & helped to make my daily life much easier
Updated 11/22/25 – it’s a lifesaver but one important thing to know. The sling that comes with this has no padding. Consequently , it cut and was painful to use for my mother. I searched here on amazon and found another sling , except this one had padding along the bottom edge. Using this other sling made all the world of difference and I couldn’t be happier with how everything has worked out.‐——————————–‐———————————————————————–My mother lost the ability to move after a series of strokes and return home for hospice care. Thankfully , the doctors were wrong and she’s hung in there for significantly longer than was expected. As such I’ve been physically transferring her from bed to her wheelchair twice daily for a couple years now. Due to my spine issues it just became too much for me to handle now. That’s why i decided to try this out.First off i was very surprised at how fast this was sent. It literally was out the door within three hours after placing the order and arrived here faster than most ‘prime’ items we get. On arrival thankfully i had a helping hand getting it inside as it’s a bit heavy. That said if i was younger without a bad back i could’ve easily moved the box on my own. The contents were well packed, no issues at all in that respect.Once I emptied the contents of the box and laid everything out on the carpet, it was nice to see that there really weren’t that many parts to assemble. The video on the Amazon page for this lift was very helpful in putting it together. I didn’t even have to look at the written instructions once. The only item of note with the video to assemble is that the center piston piece with the motor is slightly different than the one shown. So when putting that in place the way you know, you have it in correctly is to look at the top of the piston, you’ll see that it is offset so that one side(front to back) is slightly longer on the piston than the other, not lengthwise just look at the top end housing. That said installation was extremely easy, straightforward and took me maybe fifteen to twenty minutes tops to complete. Before using it on my mother, I tested it on myself. I sat in the sling that comes with to make sure it supported me well. It did and the only complaint I have with the sling? Is that the bottom is not padded at all as I discovered when I tested it on myself first. That said after assembly I found no defects or quality control issues whatsoever. The sling which goes under the person prior to lifting, has three main use loops at each corner, as well as loops on the underside. You’ll have to figure out which to use depending on the person’s size and what you’re moving them to and from. The remote control couldn’t be simpler to use. Just the up and down arrows and that’s it. There’s a pedal on the bottom that you absolutely need to always remember to use. That pedal when pushed on the left side moves the front of the base’s legs outward for increased stability while lifting a person when you’re done you simply push the foot pedal on the other side to move the legs back, so that they are closer together and easier to move into a spot that’s unobstructed.Overall I’m very happy with this lift with one tiny exception. I really really wish they had also included a short video on the amazon page showing how to use the sling. And that’s because I’ve never used one of these before. There are so many loops, plus I wasn’t even sure which way to put the sling. Only one side goes at one end then you also have loops on the other side? I did figure out through trial and error that the part of the sling placement. FYI as part of the sling at one end are two firm vertical slats. Those go so placed nearest to the pole, main support column. Again a short, at most two minute video would make the first time use of this device significantly easier for us end users. All things considered I wouldn’t hesitate to get this again in a heartbeat. There are a number of sellers here on amazon that sell essentially the same product but as I found they were all selling them at higher prices. For value and quality construction, this in my opinion is well worth it’s price point.

    Powerful but Compact
Living in a tiny city apartment with my mom, I was worried about fitting a lift. This one adjusts perfectly to our narrow halls and fits through standard doors. The locking wheels keep it steady on our hardwood floors. I love that it’s plug-in – no more charging batteries or guessing if it has power. Setup took 5 minutes, and now transfers are quick and easy.
