Perfect for its purpose
I was reluctant after reading some of the reviews – but this has worked perfectly for my needs. It holds the ice pack on my shoulder and arm in place and would work just as well on legs. My gel pack stays very cold for the entire time I am using it (usually 30 minutes at a time)- unlike other reports. This is exactly what I needed at a terrific cost.

A GOOD PRODUCT, IF YOU’RE SMALL FRAMED
O.K., ice packs are good for sore joints and muscles. This is a a good, cold ice pack. Unfortunately, this pack is both too short and too narrow to be useful for anything larger than my wrist. I bought it for my knees . . .

Look no further! This one is awesome!
I received my Caldera Therapy Wrap yesterday and really love it. It is the perfect size for my shoulder. The strap is long enough to wrap around my whole body so it stays in place (picture it like the sash worn by Miss America, but with a super cold ice pack at the shoulder). It can be used on other body parts too. The ice pack/hot pack gets extremely cold if you freeze it long enough. I froze mine overnight and today it is supercold and penetrates through the wrap and my t-shirt. Brrrr. I cannot think of any negative comments about this product. It is just what I was hoping it would be. Simple and inexpensive. I have not tried it as a warm pack yet.

Works well
Bought this wrap for hamstring and knee soreness – wrap fit well (though the straps want to slip sideways a bit) and stayed cold for a while- if you plan on using this for an hour, you should look elsewhere, but 30 minutes no problem. The gel pack gets extremely cold, contrary to what other reviews claim- check your freezers! If your worried about freezer smell, just remove the gel pack from the wrap to freeze it – takes all of 5 seconds time. I would buy this wrap again…

Works where other hot and cold packs can’t
I bought this for my mother, who has osteo arthritis in her neck. She can’t use the traditional hot and cold packs because they don’t conform to her neck and fall off. This great wrap is soft and flexible, and has a velcro strap so that the user can keep it in place. She loves it!

Does the job well
I have used it on my neck and it works well. The first time that I used it, it seemed to me to lose it’s coldness after about 10 minutes or so but when I removed it after 20 minutes and I felt my neck, my neck was ice cold. So, I believe it does the job well. I have only used it on my neck.

After suffering a hamstring tear I bought this set and gave it a regular workout during rehab. Two ice packs are essential to keep up with chilling during rehab and the velcro holder makes it easy to replace regularly. Now that I’m back on my feet, my athlete daughter uses these for her knees and shoulder after practice and loves the way the velcro strap keeps it in place as she moves around the house.

I bought two of these therapy wraps – one for each knee. They are extremely helpful for my arthritic knees, and I like the Velcro strap that keeps the wrap securely in place, without slipping off. Very happy with my purchase.

I love these pads. long strap, comfortable, frozen or microwaved they work well and feel great. They’ve been invaluable during my surgery recovery.

This will work well for ankles and wrists. I don’t necessarily like the strap system they have on it as yet. With use, I might come to like it, but I’m accustomed to and really like the old velcro-two-pronged system of securing it around the injured body part.
