Wrist Pulse Oximeter and Blood oxygen
This is the first wrist pulse and Oximeter I have seen. I have a few of the ones that go on the end of your finger. But those are always falling off when you fall asleep or if you are walking. Or a lot of times they are in your way when you need to use the finger it has covered up.This one fits with a bracelet around your wrist. Then the reader goes in your thumb. It slides all the way down your thumb so you are still able to use your finger. It is rechargeable. When it first arrived I placed it on charge and let it charge completely before using it for the first time. I downloaded the app and registered with it while I waited on the product to completely charge.Once charged it connected to my phone though Bluetooth on the first try. The only problem I had is I have to use a bandaid around the part that goes on my finger because it was to lose and was causing inaccurate readings. When I put the bandaid around the ring it held it in place which meat for a more accurate reading. I did test this with the oximeter I have that goes on my finger and with the bandaid around the ring it was within one point reading or dead on with the finger Oximeter at all times. The app allows me to keep a detailed reading for my doctor. If you are a person like me that has to wear an Oximeter a lot of the time then I would recommend this to you. It is so simple and you truly forget you even have it on. One charge will last up to 3 days. This is a great device. I love it. 5 stars all the way.

Good pulse ox that fits like a ring with a tether
This pulse ox data logger is good for anyone whom is in need of keeping track of how oxygenated the blood is for your own sake or perhaps to track if you’re determining if you are lacking oxygen during sleeping or perhaps you just want metrics on your own body. This is a good device that can help you measure and track how you are. My major complaint about this device is that it seems to be designed for wearing on your left wrist. I tried to wear it on my right wrist but the display did not flip so the readout was upside down when wearing the device on your right wrist. But beyond that I found that this pulse ox was very easy to wear and the ring that slips on your finger was soft and felt fine for wearing it long periods of time. As for the data captured it has a good historical log of when the pulse and oxygen were measured and it provides the data on an easy to read graph, it even allow you to scroll around on the graph to see at what points in time were your pulse and oxygen percentage was. The app is easy to install, I got it from the google play store and installed just fine and getting the app to find the device was as simple as opening the app and if Bluetooth was t on you can allow the app to turn it on and then with the pulse ox device on I just scanned for the device and it picked it up without much trouble. I didn’t even create a user account and I was still able to use the app to review the historical data that it previously recorded and I was also able to see in real-time what I was capturing as my heart rate and oxygen %. As for its accuracy, I found it to be maybe no more than a couple of percent difference from a finger pulse ox device; my heart rate on the other hand could differ from 5-10bpm. I used my fitness watch and also my finger pulse ox to come up with that difference range. Overall for long durations pulse and pulse ox recording I would recommend this but if you had reasons that you want to wear this device on your right wrist then be aware that the readout will be upside down so if your ok with that then go for it.

Comfortable, solid app, data is well organized.
FITTwo pieces for this; wristband and finger loop. The wristband isn’t any heavier than a sports watch and wears pretty much like one, doesn’t need to be on tight as all the readings are taken at the flinger. The finger loop was tight enough to stay in place at all times, and apart for a bit of fidgeting with it at first I could forget it was there after a while.MEASUREMENTSI don’t have a clinically validated oximeter so the best I could do to check accuracy was a same finger reading against another non-medical oximeter that had been in the past checked against a clinically validated oximeter. As observed; resting o2 varied 1%, active o2 varied 1-3%, resting pulse varied 1-3 bpm, active pulse varied 1-5bpm. Basically everything is in within reason for a non-medical oximeter.APPThis is one of those smart devices that really needs the app to get the full value. The device itself can show you some limited information like current Spo2 stats, battery life, BT connectivity status, time. But all of the history and analytical data comes from the app. This oximeter uses the ViHealth app which is actually one of the better ones in the smart health device market and supports other smart devices made by Viatom such as BP monitors and scales. A few bullet points about the app:-Pairing worked the first time and hasn’t dropped yet.-Syncing to app occurs within seconds of device start.-History plots an o2 assessment score, o2 percentage, and o2 level drops in a day/month/year format.-Individual sessions have many metrics recorded for view in the app; start/duration time, o2 assessment score, o2 drops by count and per hour, o2 ad pulse ranges and distribution spreads, and a place to enter notes.-Dashboard plots readings in real time.-Can set sound/vibration alerts for falling o2 and low/high pulse readings.-App will alert when connection to oximeter is lost.
