Phenomenal Sound
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are noticeably more comfortable, sound better, and offer more features than previous models. They look and feel like the premium product I expect from Bose. Multiple ear-tip options, including foam and silicone, help achieve a secure, personalized fit for different ear sizes. The noise cancellation is the best I’ve experienced, effectively blocking both low-frequency drone and mid-frequency city noise. The Bose app lets you tailor the experience with presets and custom options, from EQ adjustments to adjustable ANC levels. Sonically, the bass is punchy, the mids are clear, and the highs remain smooth; additional settings and controls in the app make it easy to fine-tune the sound. Call quality is solid, and connectivity is reliable with fast pairing. Battery life delivers about 5–6 hours with ANC on, and the case provides a couple of full charges plus convenient USB‑C fast charging (and wireless charging on compatible models). Overall, these are the best earbuds I’ve owned from Bose, or any competitor.

Bose Quality, Convenience + Customization
I’ve always trusted Bose for sound quality, but I was hesitant to get earbuds because I usually experience ear fatigue within 10 minutes of wearing them. I wore these for 5 hours straight before they even started to bother me. The fit kit they include is a huge win with several variations of ear tips and cushion which are easy to swap, click securely, and make all the difference in comfort! The sound quality is superb. The bass and clarity feel like surround sound , full and powerful without being harsh or headache inducing. Noise cancellation is customizable and blocks out distractions beautifully, with little to no sound leakage which is amazing for phone calls and music. I’ve used them for phone calls, exercise, and downtime, and they always stay in place. Having modes like music, motion, and podcast makes the listening experience even more personal.Battery life is another highlight for me. The buds recharge quickly in the case, and I’ve only had to charge them once while stored. The connectivity range is beyond better than similar products I own, and the Bose app with EQ and customization options is really allows you to prioritize function and personalize your experience. My top highlights are the comfort, secure fit, and ability to tailor the experience to any situation. If I could improve one thing though, it would be adding a locator feature for lost buds or more shortcut control button options.Overall I’d recommend these to anyone who moves. Literally. Especially people on the go who want earbuds that stay put, sound incredible, and feel comfortable for hours.

Bose Silence is Golden
Bose is out with its new QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) and they are a winning continuation of the QuietComfort Earbud line that was first introduced in 2020. The Gen 2 Ultras now come in four colors. In addition to the traditional White Smoke and Black, Bose has added Deep Plum and Midnight Violet colorways. Also new for Gen 2 is wireless charging via the case, in addition to USB-C connectivity, and case battery level reporting in the Bose app. Bose also claims to have improved call quality and its ActiveSense noise cancellation. I have the Gen 1 Ultras (which my wife has been coveting, hence the upgrade) and can attest to almost complete silence on a commercial flight. No jet engine noise or babies crying…just pure bliss. While have not yet flown with the Gen 2s, I have been mowing the lawn, again with almost complete silence except for the deep bass and pure highs of the music playing from my phone. Music reproduction is accurate and rich with a wide soundstage and telephone calls come through clearly and without distortion. The earbuds are very comfortable for prolonged use and fit securely once you find the right size tips and retention bands. There is even an Earbud Seal Test in the app to ensure best performance. With a battery life of up to 6 hours and several recharges available in the case, these earbuds will work for quite a while if used judiciously. I cannot say enough about the 2nd Gen Bose Ultra Earbuds beyond the fact that you will not be disappointed if you decide to make the purchase.

Great sound quality
These Bose QuietComfort UltraBluetooth Earbuds were really easy to set up straight out of the box. Within five minutes we had them hooked up to the phone and had downloaded the app. It came with over 50% charge and was quick to fully charge using the included USB-C cable. It did not come with the wall plug. It was easy to pair with the phone using the Bluetooth feature. A clever feature of these is that the case can charge wirelessly which is perfect as my husband has a wireless charger on his side of the bed.One of our favorite features is the quiet mode for total noise cancellation, the aware mode which is perfect for when we’re walking the dog and the immersion mode which makes listening to your favorite music a wonderful experience. These also came with different ear tips and stability bands so you can find the perfect fit to make them as comfortable in your ears as possible. My husband has been wearing these when he’s out with the dog and he’s had no issues with these coming loose or falling out.The sound quality of the earbuds is so much better than the last pair of ear buds we had. – a different brand. The sound is clear, crisp and the immersive setting is top notch. Phone calls are also clear and simple once you figure out the buttons you need to press.I like that you can see if the case needs charging from the outside, the little light lights up white when it’s fully charged. The charge lasts a good length of time – we’ve only charged it once since they arrived and they’ve been used quite a lot.I can’t think of any negatives for these and we are extremely happy with the quality and durability of these Bose earbuds

Gen 2, really? It say so on the box.. but there is no difference to these other than the grill on the earplugs compared to the gen 1… and wireless charging, but that can be bought for gen 1 as well.Gen 2 are good if you want great noise suppression and comfortable earbuds, but they are simply not good enough for calls, unless you want to be heard as you’re talking into a tin can. The charging case, which has support for wireless charging, is a bit bulky and Very very flimsy compared to Samsung Galaxy buds 3 pro or any of the AirPod versions. If you have AirPods or Galaxy buds or any buds that you are comfortable with and you’re happy with the noise suppression you get then do not, I repeat do not purchase these they are not That good, AirPods Pro are actually better.. if they fit!______Edit after firmware update 4.9.30 on August 6, which claims that it “Introduced SpeechClarity voice enhancement for Bose best call quality yet”… I tried their newest and best call quality IN A QUIET ROOM… and it still sounds like you’re talking in a tin can, not much of a difference. And since this is what they claim to be a Gen 2, i.e. a brand new hardware version it should have been updated with better microphones, well nope, it has the same crappy ones as Gen 1, it’s just a way for them to make us pay for firmware updates. Another Red flag, so again, stay away from Bose if you want good call quality they simply cannot deliver on that.

The best noise cancelling out there, confortable to wear, easy to carry around. Perfect for airplane/long haul to sleep. Definitely best thing i bought for my music.

Way better than gen1. They haven’t even burst my ear drums with crackling yet.

I have owned various Bose products over the years, including earbuds a long long time ago now. Bose was the leader of active noise cancellation back then, now a number of other companies have since caught up. I found these earbuds to be a departure from my previous experience with Bose products:* noise cancellation: the noise cancellation is still one of the strongest I’ve seen, especially in earbuds, but the pressure in my ears from it is now gone! I have trouble telling if it is actually on, then today I was inflating some tires with a portable air compressors and could barely hear it. This was a loud repetitive noise, though: the earbuds did get “confused” by a sudden one-off loud noise, such as me closing the door of my car, and I could hear the noise-cancellation trying to “catch up” to my environment. Yeah, it’s working, and in a very subtle not-in-your-face fashion!* size: they are much smaller than other noise-cancelling earbuds out there, and also lighter. Unlike others, they stay securely in my ears. This is welcome, the only other noise-cancelling earbuds I have found that were able to accomplish this feat without significant tinkering are the Jabra products.* sound quality: Boses always favoured the low-ends with very crisp articulated highs. I found these earbuds to be much better balanced, almost flat-sounding, but still very crisp.* sound stage: these earbuds completely blew my other earbuds out of the water. They sound like I am in a concert hall. With immersive audio that shift the music when I move my head and the earbuds being so light, listening to music makes it difficult to distinguish if the earbuds are the ones playing the music, or my computer through its speakers* touch controls: I hate touch controls and Bose delivers nothing I like here. It triggers when I adjust the earbuds in my ears, it does the wrong thing, and is just a nuisance. Unfortunately everyone else seems to think it is cool and manufacturers keeps adding it in products large and small. Please bring the buttons back!* battery life: pretty good so far, I haven’t reached a situation where they run out of juice on me and I have been using them for a few hours continuously.* battery case is a bit bigger than I thought it would be, and lacks a feature I would have liked to have, such as ability to transmit audio to the earbuds. The Jabras have that, why can’t the Boses? Also, no one seems to think about how one is expected to carry this thing: no attachment for lanyard, carabiner or anything else: you have to get a case for that, then hope it doesn’t fall out of the case.* wireless charging: this is a new feature for the gen 2 battery case. It works, but it doesn’t shut off the pad when done. As a result I have to remove them from the charging pad or they become warm to the touch.* price: like other Bose products, very very expensive for what they are.* app support: I found the app to be very basic with only a few controls. Other brands have better ones.
