Solid Pet Camera, Outstanding “Smart” Features
I bought the Furbo Mini 360 because I am a new dog parent and we are working on leaving my pup at home and monitoring her separation anxiety. The Furbo Nanny (subscription required) is really something else; it can accurately inform you if your dog is crying, howling, or barking. It plays calming music if you want, to help your pet relax while you’re away. Whenever it detects an event (movement/bark/cry/howl), it records the event and let’s you go back to see what happened at what time, in what sequence. Set up was easy on my iPhone, and I don’t imagine it to be much different on other platforms. It uses a bamboo-like material for the top cap, which is a nice touch.Camera quality is impeccable at 2K even under low light, while $75 for a device that requires subscription is a bit high, keep an eye out for prime day and you can get them for a good deal! I’ve also tried many other cameras on the market and this Furbo camera does not require you to separately purchase an external storage card which is also a plus. The only complaint I have for this device is that although it has a 360 viewing angle, panning up or down is somewhat limited. Otherwise, this is a perfect pet camera for those owners who gets just as anxious as your pup when you first start leaving them home alone!

Great new furbo that tracks your pets 🙂
The Furbo Mini 360° [New] 2K QHD Pet Camera has genuinely elevated how pet owners can keep an eye on their furry companions. Its 360° rotating feature lets you pan the camera all around the room, so whether your dog is napping under the table or your cat is scaling the bookshelf, capturing every moment becomes effortless.

    Love this!
Great system and creative! I can watch my pups when I’m out running errands with a clear picture of what they’re doing. The camera is awesome! The treats and music feature to calm the dogs is smart and works very well!

    Highly recommend
I’ve just set it up and played with all the features and setting and all I have to say is this is awesome. It has so much to offer from detecting smoke, fire, a person, follows where your pet goes, detects whining, barking and even plays music to help calm your pet. So much more on top of it. I highly recommend especially when tea him a new pet to be alone at home and for the subscription price is really not bad for everything it offers. Recording can be a little better but that’s okay. Quality altogether is good.

Updated: I bought 2 of these 1.5 years apart, with sub. App could use work but the camera is great
UPDATE NOV 2020: I bought another one (when it was on sale for about 40% off, I would not pay full price if planning on using without premium features – Furbo’s premium bundle may be a cheaper option if you are willing to shell out the full price) about a year and a half after my first purchase as I had to leave my first one behind in a different country when I returned home due to COVID conditions. The first time around I had the premium subscription feature, but this time I decided I only need the treat tossing and camera feature so I am currently using it on regular features. While I was on the sub, they would periodically send surveys asking things like which features would you like, how much would you be willing to pay for these features, etc. They have since taken away many of the free features and added them to the sub so obviously the rest of their clientelle is richer than I am. But they did keep the basics which is what I need so I am okay with that so far. Free feature comes with the camera (+ audio), treat tossing, voice recording to play when tossing a treat, and barking alerts. Premium features more or less make the Furbo into a security camera (person alert, alarm alert, etc.) which was useful for me on the first one because I lived on my own (it would let me know when apartment management came by to do maintenance while I wasn’t home, etc.) but not so much anymore because we have a separate security camera system at my current place. The product has not changed much (the app has updated – keep reading for app review), the camera is still great, 1080p with great night vision. Functionality has not changed either, I am using Zuke’s brand training treats and it tosses out 3-5 at a time (they are 2 calories each so this is a good amount). I do not have Alexa connected to the new one so I don’t know how much improvement there has been for that. The issue I had with the app is connecting the new device. The green light indicating the device was on connection mode was on but the app would do nothing when I pressed next. I spoke to the live chat help within the app but it crashed when I attempted to upload a photo of the device serial number as they requested and couldn’t get back into the chat room again. They then contacted me by e-mail to follow up (good customer service on that end, though I fixed the issue on my own by then). The issue was that the app asks you for permission to access location when setting up first, but if you click on “only this time” instead of “all the time” the app will not respond for whatever reason. It connected properly once I gave it location access for “all the time” (I took away the permission after set up and it works fine without it). One star off for that this time because app needs some troubleshooting. I did not have many issues with the app prior to the update. Also I recorded the same thing I had on the first camera to play when tossing a treat and my dog still recognizes it (:——FIRST REVIEW AUG 2019:I bought this camera after doing a lot of research on other pet cameras. I specifically wanted one that could do wifi streaming, treat tossing, and Alexa capability. It does all those things plus night vision quality is great, but like some other reviewers mentioned Alexa does not work correctly so one star off for that (but that could also be an Alexa specific thing, as she has trouble with some of my other appliances). I mainly use it to keep an eye on my 9 month old pup who likes to eat my chairs while I’m gone to class and on my 1 month old Roomba that likes to chase her around. Works great for that purpose and night vision quality is great, much better than I originally anticipated. Treat tossing is good too, at first I used kibbles but it shoots out a lot at once so I switched to larger treats broken into pieces. My pup learned very quickly that my voice coming from it means cookies. It also doubles as a security camera with person detection. Also the daily diary videos are a hoot! I look forward to watching them every day (:

  6. Saved my house
I love the furbo!! I got one several years ago for a present and it literally saved my house. I wasn’t home, a fire started, and the furbo alerted me to the fire alarm going off. Went home and put it out. The dogs love when I throw them treats.About a year later, I bought the furbo mini to watch my dogs in the backyard. It’s really fun. It works well. Then I bought the Furbo 360 a couple months ago to watch the dog room. The improvement of picture quality and sound from the model a few years ago is incredible. The dog tracking and the ability to rotate works really well. The treat throwing is still a favorite. All of the furbos have been very easy to set up and use.

    Well worth the purchase
I was on the fence for so long about getting a Furbo, and I couldn’t be happier I got one now.I have 2 mischievous pugs that bark and get into everything, they can’t stay crated while I’m gone, so I feel so relieved I can watch them through the camera. I get alerts when they’re barking, moving around, and even when they’re chewing on something. There’s soothing music that plays within 15 seconds of one dog barking and that’s been a lifesaver. They also like to stare at the camera when I’m home now because they’ve learned treats can shoot out.Overall a purchase well worth it; with so many great features. The set up was super easy, I never have any issues with connecting. The night vision is very clear, the daytime picture is clear as well.

I repeat do not buy ! don’t do the mistake I did . Extremely expensive, extremely bad app, and imagine to use features on the app you need a subscription ! do not buy this product. You should buy eufy pet instead .

Furbo Dog camera is a great product. Video quality is very good. I was happily surprised with the image quality in low light situations (i.e. night vision). The quality of the audio coming through the device microphone could be improved. The audio coming from the device’s speakers is good quality. The camera was easy to setup, and the app is very intuitive, and device-phone pairing is easy.Tossing treats is fun, but the system is a little bit unreliable for tossing one treat. Thus, sometimes it toss multiple treats (60% of the time), and sometimes it does not toss any (30% of the time). I would recommed the product.

Positive points:I bought this to give myself some peace of mind while I am away from home. It definitely does that. My dogs recognise when it is in use as the light changes from yellow to blue (colours dogs can see). They usually look up immediately when I turn it on to watch them, even if I don’t activate the microphone or dispense any treats. They quickly learned to recognise the noise it makes to signal that treats are coming and come to get them very eagerly. They also seem to recognise my voice when I speak to them through the microphone and will obey commands I give them. The night vision camera is great for low light conditions and often gives a clearer view than the normal camera, even during the day.The Furbo takes their regular kibble as well as various different brands of treats, so long as they are in small pieces. The unit looks easy to clean and the mechanism hasn’t jammed once after dispensing treats hundreds of times now.I love that I can take photos and videos of my dogs and some of the things they get up to when they think I can’t see them. I just wish I could show them the photo evidence of them caught sitting on the sofa! The barking alerts work well. They are sent promptly and let me check in and decide if I want to speak to the dogs or dispense treats to distract them. It ignores the gruff and growly noises my dogs make when they are just playing nicely together and only picks up and alerts me to a “genuine” bark.Negative points:It took a while to get this set up properly as the Furbo unit wouldn’t maintain a good connection with my router despite it being in direct line of sight and only about three metres away. My phone showed a full wifi signal where I had located the Furbo. The customer services team were excellent. Very helpful and prompt with their replies. After a firmware update and then resetting the Furbo and connecting again it has been much better. I bought a wifi signal booster hoping that would give me 100% reliability for the connection. It is still a bit unstable, but is now good about 95% of the time.At first I could only use the app while I was also at home and using wifi (it wouldn’t connect using mobile data at all – I am on EE). This was a bit pointless. However, after the firmware update and resetting the unit, it now connects perfectly over mobile data so I can keep an eye on my dogs while I am away from home.My dogs would destroy the Furbo unit if they could reach it to get to the treats inside, so I have placed it on a high bookcase. This works well but would be vastly improved if it were possible to tilt the camera downwards. As it is, I have had to tip the whole unit forwards and wedge a block under the base so that it gives a good view of the room. The wide angle is great, but when it is located up as high as I need to have it, I can’t see the floor (which is where my dogs are most of the time – or at least, where they are supposed to be but the sofa is obviously so much more comfortable!) without tipping it forwards. With the Furbo unit in this tilted position it is a little bit unstable and doesn’t fire the treats out so well. It still does, but they tend to just spill or dribble out rather than shoot forwards as they do when it is sitting level. It also gives out far more treats in this tilted position so I am going through them too quickly. As it is not possible to fill the unit with many treats to begin with, this is a problem. There is a slight delay on the camera so it is not ideal for talking to the dogs and timing my words to their behaviour and reactions, but the delay is only about a second so it is not a major issue.Overall, I absolutely love my Furbo. It was expensive but the peace of mind is has given me on the occasions I have needed to leave my dogs at home has been worth it. One dog in particular suffers from separation anxiety and she seems to take comfort from hearing my voice occasionally. Of course, I can’t be sure she recognises it is me speaking, but she recognises her name and some basic commands so it distracts her from whatever she is doing or feeling for a few moments at least.Even with my few criticisms, I would still give this 5 stars.
