Bought for a soon hip replacement
I bought this for my senior mom, she’s been told she needs hip replacement and they’re talking about in the next 2 months. She’s already having problem with getting up and down from the commode and from just regular chairs. I picked this one because it said it can be used in multiple rooms and is easily-portable. I only have minimal testing of it so far. She used it to get up from the couch but maybe I can tell you a little bit about it.The assembly is minor and it’s easy to assemble. The top part of it (handles, crossbars) is very well made and sturdy. All you have to do on the assembly of it is install 4 e-clips that comes with it. You just push them in the four holes. Those are for making it possible to fold it up. They lock it from folding up. You have to pop all four back out to fold it up. It takes 2-3 seconds on each. You then install the four legs and they each require a wingnut, bolt and a (my word) exploded metal washer. Exploded washer is my way of saying they mold into the metal. They don’t exactly look right but they work very well. All of this is easy to do. Once that’s done, you can push the metal catch on each leg and slide the height of the leg(s) to your desired height.I couldn’t have built it better myself. Very good design, I did notice the front legs came up a bit when my mom first tried to get up from the couch. But she was grabbing the portion of the handles that was closest to her instead of grabbing the middle. That’s just basic physics. I would recommend working with it for maybe 10 minutes just to get used to it. Have someone stand with you and make sure you’re confident in it. I weigh 240 and was showing mom how to use it, it wasn’t tipping with me at all.I will come back and post some results after mom has some time to use it and see how she likes it. As of right now, the quality and feel of it excellent, especially for the price. We looked at similar at one of home medical supply stores and it was about twenty-five dollars more than this one and didn’t fold up. Excellent product, so far.

Bought this for my 83 year old dad after he started chemo. For reference, hes about 6’1″ The rubber stoppers made it non slip and it was very stable. Its also adjustable, lightweight and was able to accommodate him. If this is something you need then this one was a great option

Very useful took following back surgery
I had spinal fusion 2 weeks ago. This has been one of the most reliable and useful piece of equipment I purchased. The product is easy to assemble and it feels quite stable in the space I have. You need to consider the surrounding area of the toilet. Even big bathrooms may have a narrow space for toilet. I had to switch to having my toilet paper on a freestanding holder because the roll of paper took up just a little too much space. The rails fit well and can be adjusted to your height. The product is light weight, easy to move but definitely stable when you are putting pressure down on the rails. My toilet is a high one so I did not need a seat riser. I don’t know if that would impact the fit/use, I do not know how I would have been able to use the toilet without these rails. Even sitting is extremely painful and being able to use these helps relieve some of the weight and pressure on my spine. An excellent purchase for me.

Excellent Product!
I’ll be having hip replacement surgery in a few weeks and will need a little extra support and stability when sitting and standing using the toilet. I checked out all the different types of support products showing on Amazon and finally decided to give this Vaunn product a try. It took all of about 5 minutes to put it together, and you could tell immediately that it was well-designed and well-built. I was a bit concerned that it didn’t have width adjustment but the width was perfect, not interfering with the toilet paper holder or sprayer that I use.It has something like 6 height adjustment indents, and even within a specific height, the handle bars slope a little, higher in back, lower in front, so that you can fine tune the best height for your needs. If you’re looking for something to assist for sitting and standing, I would definitely give this Vaunn product a try.

Very good toilet safety rail but….
With any safety equipment for home use, it must be easy to assemble, stable and sturdy…or it just won’t serve its purpose well. This toilet safety rail is pretty good, but I couldn’t give it five stars because the design for sturdiness is not quite top notch. This is fine for my mom to use because the force or pressure she puts on the rails isn’t enough to put a strain on the product. However, there is some give outward on the frame arms and so anyone needing to apply a lot of force to support yourself sitting down and getting up from the toilet, should look for a heavy duty product. There is just no way to tighten the rails/arms of this product so that it could be stiff, like on a walker frame. Nevertheless, the padded arms, adjustable height and fit over the toilet is great…and most importantly, it serves its purpose well for my mom.

Well Built Easy To Assemble
This toilet safety frame is outstanding. I had several other toilet safety frames over the years and this one is the best. From the overall sturdiness, wide handrail frame, ease to adjust and padded grab bars, this unit is super well built. Plus, the large round floor pads adds to the stability and keeps the unit from moving around. In the past with those other units I had, putting them together was a pain and I usually required some tools. This toilet safety frame was so easy to assemble without the need of any tools. I put it together in less then 10 minutes. I highly recommend this item.
