A good microcontroller to keep around.
Arrived quickly and worked great with my custom keyboard build that I’m typing this review on. The 3 pack is a great value so I’ll be keeping a couple of these around for sure.

ENSURE YOU HAVE RIGHT USB – A LOT ONLY CHARGE
If these are not working for you I can almost 100% bet your USB cable (while might be the right fit) isn’t wired to transfer data. A lot of USB C cables only have internal wiring to charge a device not transfer data. Ensure you have one that transfers data. I used my iPhone and pc to see which cables charged only vs which ones allowed my phone to be recognized by my pc. If this saves you the 72 hours of chatbot he’ll I went through then good. Tried everything under the sun based on copilot for 3 days then finally decided to grab my phone and plug it in and realized my cable was not a data cable. Found one that was and bam I’m in business. If you don’t have anything to test with here’s what you should expect with a bad cable on micro: solid red led to the upper left of the chip that gives no feedback no matter what you do. A good cable: same thing but LED3 by pin 7 will blink once when plugged in. Also, your port will see the micro as a Leonardo if the cable is correct.

Faulty USB C Port
On 3/3 of these boards I got, each USB c port had an issue. Using a known good cable, each cable becomes “stuck” in these boards, leading to the pins inside the USB c port breaking (at the far right). The PCB itself seems to be decent quality. Hard to say if I just happened to get 3 boards of a bad run or what.

Perfect Arduino boards for native USB devices such as HID (keyboards)
These are very nice quality and 3 of 3 worked fine. These have the USB-C connector. Just what I needed.

Good starter
Good little mcu but do note that this does have less available pins than the genuine Arduino micro. The actual processor has some decent specs as far as micro controllers go, but there are some more modern options that do give a bit more performance with more GPIO like the RP2040. It has a usb interface built in so it can be used for HID projects or the like. It is pretty easy to use, you can just use platform up or Arduino ide. Its value is not bad but you can find a lot of micro controllers with similar or better specs for the same price and it is moderately quick definetly not the fastest.

Works as it is suppose to do
Used this with our satellite tracker for Ham Radio, works great

Great Leonardo/pro micro board
I ordered these for the value and availability. Got my project done on time. I did manage to brick two boards, but it was my fault for rushing and shorting them out.

One time only
Works but only one time programable. One needs to verify code, before uploading.
