clear display and loud enough to hear across the room
This kitchen timer is super easy to use and the numbers are large and easy to read at a glance. The alarm is loud enough that I can hear it from another room without being obnoxious. The magnet on the back is strong so it stays put on the fridge. I like that it can do both countdown and count up depending on what I’m cooking. Simple, reliable, and very handy.

Easy to use.
I purchased this as a timer when I do planks and it is perfect. Easy to start, stop and reset during reps.

Simple! Easy! Very good design! Love it!
This thing rocks. It’s intuitive and easy to use. I needed a new cookie timer and this one is really, really good.I used to use an old school cookie timer that is completely manual. That would be my only complaint about this new one is that being electronic, it needs batteries. The spring in the old one was wearing out I guess because I would turn it to 1 hour and it would just clock itself all the way back to about 40 minutes, so I would have to run it twice. That’s not a big deal really and often I would use it as a reminder to check whatever I was cooking to see if it had burned. But the other disadvantage was that when it reached the end, it would just ding once. Hopefully I was near enough to hear it.When this one came up on Vine, I thought I would try it and here’s why I really like it.To set the time, you can turn the body of the timer left or right. Left starts at 99 minutes and right starts at 0 minutes. If you turn it slowly, it advances slowly, showing the set time in big numbers on the front. If you turn it quickly, the numbers rise quickly making it pretty easy to set the timer to what you want quickly. At first I was turning too slowly and it seemed to take too long, but then I realized turning it quickly makes it go faster and now it is super intuitive to get to the exact minute you need (or even seconds). To start it, just press the top. To pause it, just press the top. To reset it, long press the top. When it reaches the time, it chimes for a full minute making it harder to miss. Really, it’s just great. I can honestly say I have not been this pleased with a product that has a simple task and it performs that task simply. No apps, not registration, just a simple elegantly designed timer that does what you need.Apparently it will also count UP so you can use it for other purposes. I admit, I haven’t tried that yet, since I just needed a good cookie timer.I received this product for free for a review as part of the Vine program, but I have no difficulty highly recommending it. In fact, I’m thinking of getting another one as a gift.

Almost perfect timer for quick one-handed use!
I really like this timer! You simply twist the top until you get to the right time. You can only select times in 5-second increments. It has an eco setting to conserve battery. The screen doesn’t stay on very long after the timer goes off, which is important because this timer is NOT rechargeable. It uses three AAA batteries. The magnet is strong enough to adhere to my dry-erase board, which my last magnetic timer couldn’t do. I think the numbers are large and bright. You can choose between low, high, or no alert sound. I only have two complaints: the screen tends to scratch kind of easily, and it’s kind of hard to twist because the base of the timer is so small, there isn’t much to hold on to. The top of timer that gets twisted takes up almost all of the space. (If you are leaving the timer on a magnetized surface, you will have no issues twisting it. But if you are like me and move your timer around the house for various tasks, you might find it a bit challenging to twist while holding in your hand.) If those two items could be tweaked, this would be the perfect timer.

Looks Good, Works Well, But Unintuitive and Pricey
This kitchen timer does the job, but it’s not especially intuitive. There’s a bit of a learning curve, and I had to refer to the user guide to figure out the controls. What I like:• Magnetic back sticks securely to my refrigerator• Large, bright numbers that are easy to read at a glance• Alarm is loud enough to hear without being jarringWhat I don’t love:• Controls aren’t intuitive; setup takes some trial and error• The display sometimes appears to pause or stutter briefly when starting a countdown — I’ve noticed this more than once.• Overall build and design does not feel like it warrants a $20 price pointIn terms of quality and design, this timer feels like something in the under‑$10 range. It works, but I would not be enthusiastic about it at full price. If you love the look of it, though–and I do–go for it.

works great on my stainless steel fridge
This is a very functional digital kitchen time. The volume is very good as its not too load. You turn the sides like you would a radio nob to add or subtract time. Its very easy to use but i did have some issues where when i tried to set the timer a couple times it did not work and I had to take out and put back in the battery to reset it. This is idea for when cooking or time blocking. If i know i have say 5 more finish for say chicken to finish cooking i’ll step away and put the timer for 5 minutes as a reminder. You can also use it for kids to day well bed time in 5 minutes. Another use is time blocking where you focus on one thing for what ever time you set it for. It did not stick to the side of the fridge so i had to put it on the front where it held strongly. I also like that it is digital so you can see the number and the number are large enough to be seen from a small distance. It does seem well built and aside from the glitch i experience it should last a long time.
