Customers say
Customers find the timer well worth the money and appreciate its functionality, with one noting it works as advertised with sound and lights for two minutes. The product makes hand washing and teeth brushing more enjoyable, with customers reporting better hand washing habits and cleaner teeth. Moreover, children find it fun, with one mentioning it creates a dance party for teeth brushing. However, the music selection receives mixed feedback, with some loving the different songs while others find the Christmas tunes obnoxious. Additionally, the volume level receives criticism for being too loud.

Making Brushing & Hand Washing Fun
This hand washing and teeth brushing timer has been a total game changer for my child! When you press the button, it lights up green while in use and turns red when it’s time to stop, plus it plays music to keep our child engaged during the task. I really like that it has a 2-minute setting for brushing and a 20-second setting for hand washing. It’s easy to use, has adjustable volume, great quality, and works great. Highly Recommend! The only con for me is that all the songs are Christmas tunes, but funny enough, my child absolutely loves them!

Clean teeth and annoyed parent ears OR happy ears and barely brushed/washed kids. READ ON
Ok, here’s a completely honest review from the parents of FOUR kids, ages ranging from 2-10, who would never brush long enough before this. And yes, I feel like it’s worth a long review for lol. We have enough battles to fight and standing over each child making sure they all brush their teeth and wash their hands for long enough just wasn’t going to happen. (Let’s face it, by the time it’s teeth brushing time, we’re both exhausted) SO… if you can pull up your big-kid-pants long enough to endure the ice-cream-truck style tunes for 2-4 minutes (depending on how many kids you’ve got brushing at the same time), it’s well worth it. Besides, I’ll welcome the ice-cream truck music if it means they are dancing about while brushing teeth as opposed to putting sugary goodness in their mouths LOL. PLUS, the ice-cream truck is WAAAAY louder, and this thing does have sound options!!!NOW… as any experienced parent would find out soon after opening the package, we knew right away that that thing was NOT about to stay on the wall, it WOULD be fought over, and the battery back WOULD end up off and lost and there goes that.***Easy remedy we highly recomend doing and an easy fix if you can work a drill! My hubs is smart and he came up with the idea of first drilling the holder to the wall, permanently. Then after inspecting it closely, he found a safe spot (on the back half of the timer which holds nothing but the batteries) to drill a pilot hole into the actual case that contains the timer. Finally he drilled a short, maybe half inch screw through the case and into the pilot hole of the timer. *SEE photos below*It works like a dream. We’ve had it for 2-3 months now. Yes, the music is a little annoying at first (we’ve gotten used to it now), and yes, it plays some Christmas music, but c’mon peeps… pick your battles. At least its not the baby shark song OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER (sorry), just think of it as the sound that harkens bed-time! Its safe, easy, super kid friendly, and makes brushing and washing a tad more fun for them and makes it less of a hassle for us. We will gladly take a few minutes of ice-cream-truck tunes for clean teeth and hands. Yes, it’s still our responsibility to make sure they are doing it right and are still DOING the actual brushing/washing, but hey, you can’t have your cake and eat it too… we’re still parents. Over-all, it’s a huge win for us.SO, I hope this helps you make your decision. Happy parenting!

This timer is everything!
My boys loves this!!! They are more excited to brush their teeth and it really helps make sure they are brushing longer and actually cleaning their hands. We have it up on the bathroom mirror with the little suction pieces it comes with. Great buy for little ones!

Very effective, but LOUD
Really fun for my kiddo to use. I love the different songs, and it helps remind him to brush all the different parts of his mouth when the song changes. I just wish it had a lower volume option because it’s a bit loud if my youngest is in bed and my oldest needs to brush.

Best thing I bought for my daughter.
I have struggled to get my adult disabled daughter to brush her teeth the right amt of time. I’ve tried specialty toothbrushes and paste, 2 minute timers, etc…. I saw this and it works! She starts it by pressing the button with the tooth picture and it plays a melody of kiddie songs until 2 mins are over. There is also a green light when you begin and it increases its flashing when the 2 mins are ending, then the light turns red and the songs stop. They also have a 30 sec setting with a hand button. I get so excited now because when I hear those songs I know she is brushing her teeth and she doesn’t stop until the music does. She also does it now 2-3 times a day, when I was lucky if she remembered to brush daily without a reminder. This has been the best product I have come across for teeth brushing. ( My daughter is 36yrs but has the mentality of 1st or 2nd grader ). Hope this helps all who are thinking of getting it.

Christmas Songs Included???
The music reminds me of what you would think of playing from an ice cream truck. I probably would have given 4 stars if it didn’t include 2 or 3 Christmas songs in the few songs included. Nothing like having your kids singing Christmas music in April. The quality of the music was a tad underwhelming. The player does its job. Both buttons work as they should. Our kids love the ease of just pressing the button for teeth or for handwashing. I appreciated the suction cups for hanging so we didn’t have to make marks in our drywall. Overall the player is fine, but the tone of the music and the song selection are not what I was expecting.

Helpful time management aid
We’ve had this about a month now. Our son struggles with a sense of time and wouldn’t wash his hands/brush teething enough. It has been great with helping him manage that time.It plays short songs (nursery rhyme type songs—This Old Man, etc.) When brushing teeth I told him to change sections of his mouth when the song changes which seems to help him in moving the tooth brush to various areas of his mouth. It comes with suction cups so it sticks well to our bathroom mirror which I find handy. Some reviews complained about the volume. I don’t think it is horribly loud even in the quietest setting. We have a small house and can hear it through out, but I’ve not found it to be overly loud.My biggest issue with it is that the tunes get stuck in my head—including the random Christmas songs that are included, so I find myself randomly humming Jingle Bells! Haha! We’ve found it to be a good and helpful time management aid though. We’d definitely recommend it.
