Worked in Win7 and Mac with no drivers needed. Revived 4 dead DJI Spark batteries with this!
Success! Fixed all 4 of my NOS DJI Spark batteries that had been stored (new) for 3 years and were completely dead/unresponsive. Used this $10 CP2112 on Amazon. Super easy to solder the 2 8-pin headers on. Used DuPont cables to join the CP2112 to the Spark batteries (I gently pressed the pins into the battery contacts and this worked well.) *No need to disassemble battery!!* (Unless it’s a Mavic Pro as those don’t have SDA/SCL terminals exposed).A Critical step with these fully dead batteries is to apply +12v to a + and GND- of the battery at the same time as the CP2112. I managed to get by using a simple 9V alkaline battery for 3 batteries lol. But one of my Spark batteries needed a 12v supply, the 9V was too weak, it would connect but the PF Flag Clear kept failing (it would clear but immediately re-set itself) As soon as I used 12V it cleared it for good and I was able to charge all 4 batteries fully in Spark.I flew all 4 and they all lasted the same 12-14min as my personal good batteries! So this PF flag is an unnecessary time-bomb kill switch. We should make a class-action against DJI for this.FYI my cells were actually at 2.2v-1.8v internally.PS: Not sure why but the CP2112 did not appear as USB HID device on my Windows 7 PC no matter what I tried. Then I connected it to my Mac and ran a “lsusb” and saw the Silicon chip connected, proving the device is not faulty. I reconnected to my PC and wtf this time it immediately showed up in DJI Battery Killer! You have to start on that tab (far right tab) and select the list with valid numbers, then click CONNECT. On my PC it displayed:1. (blank)2. 32101234 (or some 8 digit number) <—- this is the CP21123. yyyyyyyyyyyyy4. yyyyyyyyyyyyyWhen the CP2112 was not connecting properly, the 1, 3, 4 would show but not the 2 I needed. If I hadn’t tried my Mac I might have gotten frustrated and concluded the CP2112 was faulty, as it’s a simple USB HID Class device that needs no drivers at all, so in theory you’d expect it to show up instantly every time you plug it in...

Works Perfectly
I had an urgent need to connect to a “smart” battery (DJI Drone) that had disabled itself due to low voltage because I hadn’t used or charged the battery in ~9 months. I followed a YouTube guide to test and reset the battery and it worked perfectly.

Used to restore my bricked DJI battery
Wired this to my DJI mini 2 battery and cleared the fault codes to restore it to full functionality.I had a bricked DJI battery, I disassembled it, manually balanced the cells, the used DJI Battery Killer application plus this board to reset the fault codes and restore it to full functionality. It charges, powers on and supports flight again, now.

Still trying to figure it out…
Connected cable to USB port. Ran DJI battery killer, got the “device unsupported” message might be explained by not getting the battery talking to the CP2112, BUTI get the same error when the CP2112 is plugged into a USB port on my Win11 Pro laptop, with ==NOTHING== CONNECTED TO THE CP2112 BOARD!!Clearly this has nothing to do with the battery! This is an issue between the board and my laptop…a pretty “vanilla” setup. My OS is fully up to date.Does anyone know of a way to determine if the OS to board interface, OK?Any ideas? TIA

Didn’t get to use it
Nice product. Unfortunately I sent it back

Does the job
Simple to use as device like this goes. I had a little trouble soldering the pins on after I realized It would suit my application better if they were fixed to the board. Recommend.

Worked perfectly!
This cp2112 adapter worked perfectly to reset my DJI spark battery, that I had left in my spark drone for to long without using. I used the DJI battery killer software. I did not have to solder the header pins in the board. I just used the male to male jumper wires I had ordered at the same time I ordered the cp2112 adapter. To go from board to battery. YouTube videos can be very helpful.
