Gait Belt Sturdy and Secure!
These are the best gait belts available! The ones you get from the hospital are so difficult to use because the clasp doesn’t stay shut or it slips. This one has a snapping mechanism to keep the belt secure. It also has several straps around the belt in different positions so the person being helped can grab onto the caregiver and help themselves.I always use two belts…one on the caregiver and one on the patient. That way they each have something to grab onto!

This belt provides support and safety for someone with an unsteady gait or other issues.
We have a senior adult with Parkinson’s and Orthostatic Hypertension, this belt has been amazing. We are able to help her up from bed or when she’s sitting, without holding her arms, which was starting to cause her pain sometimes. And whenever she walks, around the house or outside, someone is always within reach and able to grab her “safety belt” (as we call it), to help her balance or sit her down.This belt will fit various sizes. Our person is only 78 lbs., so we pulled the straps tight and used tie wraps to anchor the excess length to the belt. It is comfortable enough that she doesn’t even notice it any more. The multiple hand grips make it’s functionality better, as we can grab the belt from any side. It is easy to clip on, but not easy for the wearer to remove. Definitely a great value for the cost.

Uncomfortable buckle for patient once on.
We needed something for more people to help. This worked well once on. Buckel was hard to get snapped, and uncomfortable for the patient at times, but when you need something to help move someone, it worked for that well
