So awesome from ages 1-momma & nana all alike can’t stop playing with these!
I know it says how heavy it is, but when you think 5lbs, you kind of (at least I did) think of the larger 10 or 15lb blankets and don’t think of the weight being so condensed into the tiny lap Sized version. I got these for my 3 littles (ages 1,2 and just turned 4), 2 of which are on the autism spectrum who ride school bus with me when I drive for work. It helps keep them regulated, helps them calm down and focus when needed, helps them go to sleep for a quick nap when needed as we go down the road, and keeps them entertained.I originally had just ordered 2 for my older 2, but my 1 year old kept trying to steal it from them so now we have 3 😆. On hot days, we noticed they are heavy enough to drape on the seat in front of them to let them play, and they stay in place easily without falling due to the perfect size and weight. We cannot wait to try them in the winter time when the bus gets colder because we can already tell they will help keep them warm while staying put! Just trying to figure out how to clean them when it’s time as they are being used almost every day (and shared with some younger kiddos on the bus who need a bit of distraction to get home some days as well!).Last but not least, I would like to admit that it is even satisfying to sit and play with the kiddos with this even as a parent with ADD myself and if I keep it in reach, I personally cannot stop myself from watching the sequins go back and fourth. Wish there were more pattern options and possibly a version that could stay cool (like a possible gel filled ice pack version) that we could try! Really hope they hold up!

Perfect for school
This was perfect for my son to use in the class for deep pressure and he gets the stimulation from the sequence. It comes in a cute little bag for easy travel

Beneficial for regulation
Wow, what an amazing product. Working in a pediatric clinic, this weighted lap pad has been very beneficial with regulating clients at the table and while on a swing. Some of my clients even love just carrying around the lap pad because it increases their body awareness.

Great product
I was so excited to try this new sequin weighted item and it did not disappoint! It comes with a great storage/travel bag and my little sensory seeker loves the added tactile and visual input from the sequins.

Great quality!
I’m an OT and parent of 3 kids. This is an awesome weighted lap pad for them to use in our calm down space! It’s very good quality and nicely made. The colorful sequin pattern is really fun and on the other side is very soft fabric. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a weighted lap pad with a way to keep hands busy.

Cute and calming
I have yet to encounter a kid who doesn’t love a weighted blanket. My nieces and nephews all love them. This particular one is good for small kids, but bigger kids (4th graders and up) will find it a little too small. Love the sequins. This is great to have for nap time for kids who have trouble going down.

You need this for your students, clients or kids!
Perfect addition to an OT toolkit! All my students have loved it. I loved that it came in a bag for storage so I can easily access it.

Heads up on sequin frustration
Cute and soothing. Frustrated my son because going back from silver to color the cloth would move but that’s more on him than the product. Just be aware if your child also has sensory or temperament issues that doing the sequins in the opposite direction is a little difficult for littles and may need an adult to hold the blanket still while they do it.
