Customers say

Customers find the motorcycle intercom system’s sound quality excellent, with clear voice clarity and one customer noting the 40mm JBL speakers. The device is easy to install and setup, works well, and customers appreciate its communication capabilities, with one highlighting its ability to communicate over distance. The connectivity receives mixed feedback – while some say it connects easily with their riding group, others report weak connections. Battery life and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some praising the long-lasting charge while others find it significantly worse, and while some consider it a solid investment, others find it pricey.

Game-Changer for Group Rides and Long Trips!
I’ve been using the Cardo Packtalk Neo for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. The mesh communication system is a game-changer—it easily connects with my riding group, and the voice clarity is fantastic even at highway speeds. I ride with up to 6 other people, and staying connected the whole time has never been easier. The 40mm JBL speakers deliver great sound quality with plenty of volume, even with earplugs in. Natural voice commands work well too—I don’t have to take my hands off the bars to control music or answer calls. It’s completely waterproof, so no stress when the weather changes.Battery life easily lasts for a full day of riding. Setup was quick and intuitive using the Cardo app. If you do a lot of riding, especially in a group, this is a solid investment.Highly recommended!

    Great Investment, Awesome Functionality!
Very happy with purchase. We have used these on several rides and find the range, sound quality, and smartphone connectivity to be excellent. Ended up also purchasing another single Packtalk Neo in addition to the purchase of this Duo so we could have a third rider with us also and after initial setup, all sync together flawlessly with no additional steps other than turning them on. The Packtalk comm systems are definitely an investment compared to cheaper setups but the ability to communicate with more than 2 riders over a good distance is very worth it for us. So far very happy with size and weight of units as the addition of them to the helmets is not noticeable when wearing.

Get this for the best bang for buck
This is the best model in their lineup if you want to spend the least amount of money for the most features. The other models above this have a couple more gimmicks that raise the price another 100 dollars or more. The only reason you to get the edge is if you are gonna do looooooooooooooong road trips where you need the thing to be on for an entire day non stop. Otherwise, the battery lasts long enough for multiple multi-hour rides.- amazing speakers (use the included spacers to get them as close to your ears as possible)- amazing microphone (no wind noise, super clear) and the choice between a little dot mic or one on a flexible arm.- the install was about as easy as it could be- the app is pretty great, lots of options to make it how you like but sometimes takes some messing with it to connect.- the mesh talk is great once its set up but the set up can be annoying at first. The range is great but dense trees will start to cut that down fairly quick- it has its own voice commands that suck but you don’t have to use it and your assistant of choice works great with it

    Neo, for music and gps.
I use the Neo on my Biltwell Gringo and Lanesplitter helmets with no problem. Installation was simple and using the device is easy. I picked the Neo because of its price, to be prepared for any group rides to listen to music and GPS directions. I find it a good value for its price. The speakers are 40mm, I can hear GPS directions clearly and music gets loud enough. (I ride a quiet 300cc scooter)If you decide to not use your cardo Neo, be aware that there will be a loose cable and you will need to find a way to tuck it in. Besides this little caveat, I highly suggest this device. The company states its waterproof, but I still haven’t got caught in the rain. Time will tell.

If you are considering this unit, buy it!
I had a FodSport unit before this one and the upgrade was totally worth it! Don’t get me wrong, the FodSport unit was fantastic bang for your buck, but this Cardo unit outperforms in every category!Controls on the helmet are very easy to use while riding and the voice controls remove the need to even use physical buttonsfor those who want to use the feature. The voice controls for Cardo work awesome and recognize my voice every time.Sound quality is amazing! This unit is much louder than the FodSport with a significantly higher audio quality. Once again, for the price the FodSport unit is great, but if you are okay with a higher price point, buy the Cardo.I have not used the mesh communication yet (Do not know anyone else with one) but everything I have read suggests the Cardo system is great. I have taken phone calls with the Cardo and I was able to have a conversation, which I could hardly do with the FodSport. They did say my audio was grainy, but I was going 55 MPH on a motorcycle, so I will take it.My helmet is a Scorpion EXO Covert 2. The system fits well on the helmet but the faceplate does not leave much room for the mic. I have the mic near my left cheek, it pushes against my cheek a bit but isn’t uncomfortable there and allows me to use the voice features.I do often review products on Amazon, but not to this detail. With the cost of the item I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and I am hoping this review will help someone else make the jump to buy a Cardo!

Lower end model with all the core functions, I love it as a motorcycle noob!
Love my pack talk neo! Got it on a killer sale. It’s definitely a cheaper version of their flagship but i’ve had 0 issues. Speakers work great, connection works great even with no service the peer to peer connection that works like a walkie talkie still works loud and clear and its great for riding back roads with friends

    Music, phone calls and podcasts
I love to listen to podcasts when I ride but they can be quiet, installed this into a Shoei GT-Air II last night and took it for a ride this morning and the speakers over came the audio of the quiet podcasts with ease. The speakers are great quality for music and phone calls too, I was riding in high winds and there was no problem hearing (the Shoei helmet is nicely sealed so it helped too). Normally I can’t hear phone calls or voice commands when I’m riding but I had no problem when I took this for a spin.

    Great when it works
When this works, it’s amazing. However, pairing with other riders is not easy and often takes much longer than you would expect for a product at this price point. I love the sound quality for music and how clear phone calls are, but pairing with a group has been a terrible experience for me so far. I really wish there were a better, easier way to connect with other riders using the mesh system.
