Easy installation, good instructions. Works well.
The unit came with printed instructions and QR codes for videos to install. It was a starightforward installation. Blutooth is used for initial set-up, and WiFi can be used after that. The unit seems pretty high quality. The lock can be used by physical key, PIN, or fingerprint. So far I’m very pleased with it. The lock uses 4 x AA batteries.

Secure smart lock, works well with Apple Home
This secure fingerprint keyless entry door lock for front door is great for the tech savvy. I like how it works with my Apple Home and I can easily set up access codes or add other family members without having to change hardware on the door. It’s a little on the expensive side but worth every penny for what you get. Feel really professional and well made, secure.

Secure, modern smart lock with excellent fingerprint accuracy
I have been very impressed with this Lockly fingerprint smart lock. It feels solid, well built, and thoughtfully designed, and it adds both security and convenience to our front door. The matte black finish looks sleek and modern and blends nicely with our existing hardware.Installation was easier than expected. The instructions were clear, and everything lined up well with a standard door setup. It feels sturdy once installed, and the deadbolt engages smoothly every time. The lock immediately felt like a step up from a traditional keypad or standard smart lock. The fingerprint reader is fast and reliable. It unlocks in about a second and works consistently, even when fingers are slightly dry or cold. I really like that fingerprints are stored locally on the device rather than in the cloud, which adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind. Programming fingerprints through the app was straightforward, and it supports multiple users easily. The PIN Genie keypad is a standout feature. The numbers shuffle each time, which helps prevent anyone from guessing your code based on fingerprints or wear marks. It is intuitive to use once you try it a couple of times, and guests pick it up quickly. The app works well and gives full control over locking and unlocking remotely. Auto lock is very convenient, especially if you forget to lock the door when leaving. Apple Home Key support is another big plus. Being able to unlock the door using an iPhone or Apple Watch feels seamless and futuristic, and it works reliably.I also appreciate the multiple unlock options. Fingerprint, keypad, app control, Apple Home Key, voice assistants, and a physical key give plenty of flexibility for different situations. This makes it great for families, guests, or service providers.

Great for the price
I installed the Lockly Secure Pro Zeno Series on a front entry door for testing. Installation was simple, taking about 25 minutes with just a screwdriver, and it fit directly into a standard deadbolt slot. The included step-by-step guide and video instructions made the process smooth, even for someone without prior smart lock experience. Lockly locks were on my wish list for a long time, so, when I saw this deal, I ordered one in a blink. I own other smart lock, so I knew how the experience would largely be, I was more excited for a top of the line lock and the app experience. In use, the lock has been reliable and convenient. The fingerprint reader recognizes my print nearly instantly, unlocking in under a second. Apple Home Key support worked seamlessly with both my iPhone 14 and Apple Watch, letting me unlock the door just by holding them near the lock. Remote control through the app has also been useful – I can check the lock’s status and grant access when away from home. Notifications arrive quickly, and the activity log clearly shows who unlocked the door and when. The lock is built with solid material, the Indoor and outdoor units, the screen, and the hardware, all are top quality. The kit includes various door assembly options so there are quite a few extras. The installation video is very clear too. Then came the setting up the app part, I was surprised with the app ratings, but quickly realize the reasons. First off, I installed the lock app, didn’t want their home app for no reason. After installing it, came the sign up, and the app wouldn’t let me signup without a phone number, really!! (1) Why would you need my phone number when I’m signing up with my email, but there was no way to proceed without it. (2) After signing in, it started promoting me to install the home app, sounded as if the lock app is phasing out, so, I did. (3) Then came the lock set up, and after identifying the lock, it kept asking me for the location, as if the setup wouldn’t complete without it. This was the last straw, I decided not to proceed and decide next. Fortunately though, even if I exited the setup, the lock was still added, and that’s what I wanted. Build quality is excellent. The matte finish resisted fingerprints, and the lock has stood up to heavy rain without issue thanks to its IP65 rating. Auto-lock is customizable, which I found helpful for ensuring the door never stayed open unintentionally. WiFi connectivity has been stable, though placing the router within range is important for responsiveness. One limitation is that the rotating PIN Genie keypad, while secure, takes an extra moment to adjust to compared to a fixed keypad. It is a great security measure, but takes some getting used to. Overall, the lock has everything to make it premium but the product team needs to realize that people paying a premium price should have clear options to choose privacy settings that they want. There must be people who wouldn’t care for auto unlocks and location based features, and just use it in Bluetooth mode to setup e-keys and fingerprints. Overall, the Lockly Secure Pro Zeno is a strong option for anyone seeking a blend of biometric, app, and Apple ecosystem integration. It combines robust build quality, multiple access options, and weather resistance in a modern design that meaningfully improves everyday convenience and security.
