Bought Two — Fast, Reliable, and Easy Install
I originally purchased one of these smart locks to test and ended up buying a second almost immediately. Both units have been rock-solid.Installation took about 10 minutes per door with just a screwdriver. The fingerprint reader is fast and accurate, Wi-Fi connectivity has been stable, and the app makes it easy to manage codes and monitor access. I also appreciate that it supports multiple unlock methods (fingerprint, PIN, app, and key), which adds flexibility.Build quality feels solid and professional plus its design is very sleek, and auto-lock has worked consistently.Bottom line: After running two of these, I would absolutely buy again. Great value smart lock that just works.

A terrific smart lock and great value – highly recommended!
After reading the instructions and taking a look at the video, I was able to install the ULTRALOQ quickly, easily and without any problem at all. Its helpful to note that I was replacing a standard lock that was itself well-installed and worked smoothly and that the door lines up well with the jamb. I highly recommend this smart lock. It has a terrific list of features including fingerprint recognition, geo-fencing unlock/lock, door closure sensing. It can be connected to wireless networks or operate independently,

Not for shared users
After a month of dealing with this lock and Ultraloq support, I’m done.As the owner, the lock mostly works. The problems begin the moment you add a shared user, such as a spouse. This is not a setup issue — it is a design flaw.Fingerprints for a shared user will work immediately after enrollment, then fail later. This happens repeatedly. Auto-unlock is also unreliable or nonfunctional for shared users. Only keypad codes work consistently.Through weeks of back-and-forth with Ultraloq “tech support” (which is effectively an AI bot), the issue was never resolved. There is no live chat, no real-time phone support, and responses arrive around 2 a.m., turning every interaction into a 24-hour delay cycle.The root cause is simple and well known: only keypad codes are stored in the cloud. Fingerprints and auto-unlock data are stored locally on the lock, and shared-user biometric data is routinely dropped or corrupted. This has been acknowledged repeatedly in AI support responses but never fixed.This lock should not be marketed as a “family” or “shared access” solution. It functions acceptably for the owner only. If you need reliable access for a spouse or family member, this product fails.Extremely frustrating experience. The lock is being returned.

We replaced an existing simple code lock in order to allow remote code programming for our vacation rental. Replacement was simple other then this new lock has a side plate and our old one did not. So we had to chisel then in. No biggie. The lock itself is well made, quiet and set up with the wifi bridge was simple. The app us easy to use and functions are impressive. Remote lock/unlock/code programing/timed entry/limited number of entries/different types of users/optional auto lock/optional auto open etc etc . App is very intuitive. It is exactly what I wanted.Two small design complaints are that 1. The numbers are not easily visible in the dark unless you light them up by pushing the lock button first (or the first number you can’t see:)). Not sure why it doesn’t have dark on white numbering. 2. The lock button should be on the top and not “hidden” below the key hole assembly. The lock button looks more like a logo.None of these are a big deal if it is your own house but with vacation rentals, some guests are just not that great at figuring things out….:)…so a more intuitive design would go a long way. More of a suggestion then a complaint. Great product!

Absténganse de comprar productos de esta marca, estuve buscando un substituto para mi cerradura normal de teclado después de casi dos años de uso (sin cambiarle baterías por cierto) y como es para una casa que rento en Airbnb me pareció buena idea un producto con conexión a internet para agregar y borrar contraseñas a distancia. Para empezar la App jamás sincronizó el día y la hora por lo que me fue imposible crear contraseñas temporales (desde aquí perdí total interés en conservarla) y después a los 3 días de haberla instalado y justo cuando quise agregar una contraseña nueva mediante la conexión a distancia con Wifi simplemente la App jamás se conectó con la cerradura, afortunadamente la casa está a 5 minutos en auto de donde estaba así que acudí a revisar que había pasado y la cerradura simplemente se murió, tuve que abrirla con la llave de emergencia y sacarle las baterías para que funcionara de nuevo. Puedo lidiar con que no me lleguen las alertas (solo me llegaban el 50% aproximadamente), puedo lidiar con que jamás pudiera crear contraseñas temporales, pero que deje de funcionar de la nada es una falla intolerable, por lo que decidí regresarla con solo 3 días de instalada. Pésima compra, ni siquiera valió la pena todo el tiempo de espera ya que se envío desde Estados Unidos a Mexico. Probablemente me decida por otra de marca Schlage, casi al doble del precio pero parece que valdrá la pena, al menos por la pura marca creo que será mucho mejor inversión.Pd. Estuve en contacto vía mail con servicio al cliente y sus respuestas eran: “Conéctese vía Bluetooth” …. “Reinicie la cerradura de fábrica” …. Como si no hubiera intentado eso ya varias veces antes de contactarlos, simplemente no te resuelven NADA. Aplica Perfecto lo de “lo barato sale caro”.Actualización: compré la Yale Assure lock con conexión a internet mediante August y ha sido la mejor compra que he hecho en la casa de Airbnb, simplemente el producto es INCREÍBLE!!
