Amazing story of hope and faith
I was searching for hope when I found this book. While dealing with my own serious illness, Dan’s amazing story was that light of hope and encouragement for me. Throughout each chapter I was reminded that God will meet us in the middle of our storm and give us the courage to endure if we just trust Him. Dan’s wife, DeAnna, is also a beautiful example of believing that no matter how dark our circumstances seem at the moment, we can keep moving forward in faith. There are times in life that make us realize how very fragile life is and that every breath is a precious gift. Every chapter of Dan’s experiences will remind you to make the most of every day. Whatever you are going through in your own life, Scars Tell Stories, is a powerful testimony of what God can do in any situation.

Amazing story of one man’s faith and God’s great goodness
This is one of the most incredible true stories I have ever read. I had the privilege of meeting the author some 30 years ago, and I knew then he had an extraordinary faith, but of course I didn’t know where his faith journey would take him and how the Lord would work in and through him. I’m glad to know the rest of his amazing story (so far)! You can’t read Dan’s story and come away unchanged.
