    Very deep read
This book has answered all of the questions that I have about my own son. It has opened my eyes to acceptance of Cerebral Palsy as not a condition, but a part of him. Also it has eased some of the ‘what ifs’ I always ask myself regarding how to handle the temper tantrums some parents may face when a child is frustrated. Thank you for a great read!

Solid writing and story-telling. Terrific book!
I have no connection to CP, but came across this delightful book after meeting the author. Marie knows how to write and tell a story, while also providing tips for parenting and resources for help. There is so much love in this story, it drips. This should be a mainstream book. Pick this up, you won’t be disappointed.

    Love Me Tender
When reading this book by a loving mother the word TENDER comes to mind. It is a true love story. S Jordan

    Good Read
Not prepared to do a book review but I enjoyed the book and so did my niece who has a child with CP.

    A good read
Overall this book was a good read. My son is 9 months old and was recently diagnosed with CP. I’m the type of person that wants to know all of the information I can, read all the books that I can, explore whatever website I can find – to do what I can to help my son. This book was a good book about the strength a mother found to do what she could for her son. The overview for this book was a little misleading – it said there were “helpful hints” on things to do to help with the CP. I guess this was what I was looking for – a book of different things that helped a mother help her son work through CP… So I gave the product a 3 star because it didn’t really get into many helpful hints.

    A wonderful resource….
Do you want to know what its like to be a parent of a child with cerebral palsy? Author Marie Kennedy knows and she shares her experience in this wonderful book, My Perfect Son Has Cerebral Palsy – A Mother’s Guide of Helpful Hints. Beautifully written, Marie takes you on her journey of discovery in a way that is straightforward, honest and educational. Just what I needed
My son was just diagnosed with Mild CP at the age of 12 months. This book is exactly what my heart needed. Hearing the story of Jimmy and his family from his mothers point of view really was encouraging, inspirational and empowering. Thank you to Jimmy and Marie for publishing your story for the public to read.

    Inspiring
This book is very inspiring. I can identify with many of the same emotions. The only reason I dodn’t give it 5 stars is that it is short, without longterm information on her child. I was left wondering “How’s he doing now?” I think parents of CP kids always wonder how they are going to be when they “grow up.” And this book ends when the child is still very young.
