Tons of information in one place
I just received my copy of Autism Spectrum Disorder over the weekend. Even though I have worked in the field for over 18 years, I still cannot stop opening it to marvel at how many aspects of autism are so thoroughly covered in such a concise way. I have never seen a publication that covers neurobiology, social stories, functional behavior assessment, (to mention a few areas) and the age and intensity ranges of autism, in one place. This is a “must have” book that I will keep and recommend to many for years to come.

Good review of ASD and treatments but the print is so small that it is not a “go to” book. It does summarize topics nicely if you have the time and either good eyesight or a good pair of glasses.

Excellent book if you work with Autism
I recently reviewed this book and found it to be excellent and comprehensive. I think it will be a great clinical resource for me as I am currently learning to work with more complicated patients with ASD. It appears to provide the full range of information I will need.
