Yes I would recommend
Perfect for pre-diabetic people it’s very educational and has a lot of information. My husband just got diagnosed last month as pre-diabetic so he has been reading this almost everyday.

Good info
Provides a thorough overview and understanding. I feel more informed but will read a more recently published book also. This was a good start.

Trustworthy, Thorough, and Informative
This book is very informative and written in a joyful manner, which I appreciate. It is also thorough and contains information that other books tend to avoid such as facing your own weight, realistically dealing with stress, and confronting myths about prediabetes. Also, the fact that it’s been correctly edited (no spelling errors, typos, or grammar or punctuation errors that I can easily see) makes the book (and its author) more trustworthy to me – he cares about publishing quality information. One downside is that this version doesn’t cover in depth the new weight loss drugs that are currently in the news and doing well in studies. Hopefully, future versions will.

Please use packaging that won’t get wet!
I’m sure the content of the book is fine but it was received in paper packaging that was wet and book is warped!

Good info
I ended up returning this before I read the hard copy. I was able to find information on line and at the library. But the information it provided is awesome and easily understood.

A useful reference.

I purchased this after getting an Hbac1 result of 47. I went on a diet, started exercising and lost a stone over 5 months. My Hba1c went to 37. Then I found that the lab result was 5 points overreading. I now use the book as a doorstop and have started eating cake. It’s handy if I should need it again.
DELIAD –
Good reference book.

All about Americans – but I did find some of the information useful – there is an awful lot of pages to get through so just skipping through to find relevant info for yourself is the way to go .Very comprehensive book .
