    A well-researched “CliffsNotes” of bone and joint health!! A MUST read for EVERYONE!
    This book is a MUST READ for EVERYONE! It explains a complex medical topic in a way that is simple to comprehend and tackles it with a holistic approach. There’s a plethora of books out there that teaches you the importance of bone and joint health and they can be very intimidating to read. What I love about this book is that it is the “CliffsNotes” of Bone and Joint Health, BUT still has the richness and complexity of a well-researched, science-based book. The 3-part chapter is short and gets to the point. The recipes in part two are simple and easy to make. They can easily be implemented into your weekly meal planning. The ingredients are readily available at your local supermarket (you may already even have them in your pantry/fridge). The 3rd chapter is the final piece to the puzzle of bone and joint health and an important one that cannot be ignored. The workouts are simple enough for a beginner (of any age) to follow, without the use of any special equipment, but can also be modified for someone who wants more of a challenge.I highly recommend this book because I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for everyone to start taking care of their bone and joint health. This book is a vital resource for living a healthier quality of life, not just for the present, but for years to come.

    Fantastic! As a physician I’m now recommending this for my patients.
    Amazing book! I am a physician. I specialize in cancer, and many of my patients are interested and motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives to become stronger and healthier. This is a perfect way to get started living healthier and stronger with great recipes, and practical exercises for people of all levels of fitness including beginners. I am strongly recommending this for all of my patients. I put an extra copy in waiting room. This book is well written and easy to read. 5 stars.

    I love how this book has information that is concise and very applicable to my daily routine. It is not only an excellent guide to bone and joint health and the science behind it, but also a complete resource of recipes and exercises to put that information into action. I loved it so much that I bought one for my daughter because it is never to soon to start caring for your bone and joint health! I

    Highly recommend!
    This is a great book! I like the combination of nutrition and exercise advice in one book. Even though I’ve been exercising and seeking to eat healthy for many years, I think that this book was definitely worth reading.The exercise descriptions are thorough and easy to follow. In addition, it is so helpful that the authors gave some suggested modifications to the exercises both for those who are just starting an exercise program as well as for those who are more experienced.I also found a lot of interesting and beneficial information in the last chapter where the authors answer some frequently asked questions.

    Love this book as a resource for my patients! sometimes it is just way too hard to simply all women need to know about their bone health into one consult for back pain–ever since this came out, I’ve recommended it to every one who wants to learn more. It is concise, simple, and attainable recipes and exercises for the average person. As a PA disheartened by the amount of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis I treat, thank you for writing this!!

    I am finding this book to be extremely helpful. The exercises are accessible for all and the directions are complete and easy to follow. The recipes are healthy and delicious. I especially love the quinoa and mango salad! I have been carrying this book with me wherever I go and telling everyone about it!

    Very comprehensive and the exercises are illustrated.
    This book has sections on education, diet, and exercise. The education section is skimpy, only 12 pages, although there is additional information in the epilogue that deals with topics of importance. I appreciate that the authors stress exercise and diet, and they do a good job in these sections. The index and bibliography are quite useful.In terms of what is in each section. The limited education section really doesn’t address many important topics. For example, there are lots of controversies about drug therapies and none of this is critiqued. I would have liked more input about the pros and cons of these types of interventions. Also, because the education chapter is so short, I would recommend starting with the epilogue where more specific information is presented through the kinds of question the authors thinks readers might have.The diet and exercise sections somewhat overloaded me. There was too much information, and I felt overwhelmed by it. The book has a number of recipes that look quite good and one can explore them at one’s leisure. Some of the exercises looked helpful and are similar to what I do now. The illustrations make them easy to understand. However, it wasn’t clear to me how to systematically decide which ones I might need.
