Nice product if it fits your situation
I am reviewing: 6Pcs Communication Board for Non Verbal Adults Picture Symbol Communication Cards Speech Therapy Tools for Autism Toddlers Kids Aphasia Stroke Patients Hospital Care Home Use Talking PlacematsThese mats are large and made of a durable material. They have a texture that hides fingerprints. They are easy to clean. The different categories are comprehensive, but some of the specific items seem to be a stretch. For our situation, the cards are very busy. Too much information for my loved one. It will depend upon your diagnosis and stage, as each disability is different in some way. My loved one with FTD doesn’t seem to do well with this tool as I think the disconnect not only keeps him from organizing speech, it must also be keeping him from comprehending these cards.

Great, Useful Communication Boards
I have a family member who have suffered from a stroke and is now non-verbal. Though they are going through speech therapy, having a medium through which they can communicate with more ease is extremely helpful. We have tried written cards but having to hunt for the right card is more frustrating than anything. These cards are so helpful as they are grouped by theme and the person can just point to the word or photo that they are wanting to communicate. Commonly used words like ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ are shown largely and others are be used bi-directionally. Themes include dining, medical needs, personal needs, feelings and emotions, and more. I like that they are durably made and can be easily cleaned off.The use extends beyond just this application and can also be used for teaching toddlers and children words as well!Overall, these are very helpful and I would highly recommend them!
