Comfortable and great for after surgery.
My husband had to be hospitalized for an emergency heart surgery. We were in there 8 weeks. When he was moved to the rehab he was needing to be able to do lots of therapy. Still had a catheter and many tubes. These pants were a game changer. The staff said they’d never seen anything like them and commented on how great they were. Was wanting to let other patients know. Love the ease of use the material very durable and comfortable, the zippers are so much easier they can be zipped from top to bottom or bottom to top. There are Velcro tabs that make the waistband slightly more adjustable for comfort. Can’t say enough good things about these.

Perfect for Use Following Hip or Leg Surgery
These “tear away” pants are perfect following hip surgery. I purchased two of these for my father who recently took a nasty fall and broke his hip. These pants have turned out to be essential to his recovery. They’ve not only made wound care and getting dressed much easier, but they’ve also been necessary for bathrooming. They look great. The fit is your normal size. We had no problems with the zippers. They aren’t heavy, so they keep you cool enough to also sleep with them on. And the cost is just right.

Super comfortable and easy on/off even with a foot “cast”!
Fantastic purchase. I had surgery on my ankle and wore a supportive boot before and after that presented a problem for normally fitted pants. To get pants on or off required removing the boot – highly undesireable after surgery as my foot would have had to flex and that could have pulled out stitches or tugged on tendons and ligaments that were trying to knit back together. Before surgery, once I removed the boot, slid on a pair of pants, and re-secured the boot, I either had to tuck the pants into the boot which created a fold that dug into my leg or see if I could stretch it over the boot. These side-snap pants were an amazing help to avoid all these problems. They fit nice and loosely while still having a good shape and allowed me to put them on and take them off with ease. I bought two pairs so one could be washed and I still had a pair to wear. Wonderful option to have. Very comfortable. Super easy on/off.

Great ankle surgery pants
This pants were perfect for ankle surgery. I came out with a big splint style cast and it was perfect for that. The fit seemed to be reasonable. I think next time I would size up one for a little more comfort.Only thing from me is they could use better quality material.

Great pants
My husband had his lower leg amputated a few months ago. He needed pants which would provide easy access, both for his doctors to examine the leg, and for putting on and removing his prosthetic.These pants work great. An easy zip from the bottom of the pant leg gives all the access he needs. They wash well and he says they’re very comfortable. They do run a little large.

Unusual use for these pants.
Very nice pants. Though they are made for athletes, I bought them because of the zippers. My husband (age 88) has a Foley catheter. These pants are so comfortable and they make life easier when addressing catheter care. He loves them. His urologist was impressed with them and asked where we got them.Edit; I have ordered several pairs of these pants. After wearing and laundering these pants multiple times, I have found that the zippers don’t stand up well at all. Otherwise I really like them.

The quality of the material is quite bad. It picks up every single speck of dust and after washing only once following washing instructions, it looks like an old rag. The only reason that I kept them is because of the convenience from the zipper opening for someone wheelchair bound.
