SUPER USEFUL GADGET
Super easy to use. Has really helped to free me up and allow my elderly mother to take her own meds as they are dispensed. Highly recommend.

Good but has too many features, I think.
Overall, this is a great product. The directions were easy to understand. The organization was wonderful and being able to put several days worth of medicines was a great design. We used this for my boyfriends Mamaw and she liked it. Her memory is not the greatest so it worked for her till it didn’t. There is a function on the pill dispenser to advance the medicine by a dose. I don’t know if this only happens when the user phone is directly connected to the WiFi or if it works at certain times but she was able to advance her meds and get her meds sooner than she needed them. I did not like this function at all so instead of playing around with it, i just decided to send it back and try something else. Overall a good product though.

Yes! My research paid off! This is the one!
Update: loved it for a couple days. BUT if my dad closed the app, it stopped all reminder. In addition, randomly the pills didn’t drop so we had to open it h the key and dig them out of their little compartments. So I returned it. So disappointed!Original Review: Maybe the third time I’ve reviewed a product. The others were one stars. This is five. I researched long and hard for the right pill dispenser for my 91yo father who just could never take his meds properly. Even living under my roof where I could track his usage. Still terrible. We are on Day 3 of using this device and it’s been perfect. He recognized the alarm within one day and now he has a Pavlovian response to it.Lots of pill dispensers have blue tooth. This sends a reminder to his iPad at the same time as the alarm. Excellent.Lots are battery operated, but this thing can stay plugged in and if the power goes out, the battery will keep,it going for at least a day. Love that he never will have to replace AAA or AA batteries. He can take one dose a day early so if he is going out to breakfast, he can hit the “early” button, take his meds, and go eat his pancakes at The Diner. He will be going back home soon and will live independently. Hopefully it’ll still work for him. The main thing will be finding someone trustworthy who can reload the device with his meds every couple of weeks. I think it’s too complicated for him to do himself. But we will see…

Lock feature can be finnicky, but as with many fingerprint products
My Dad takes tons of vitamina so instead of opening each bottle daily, I figured this would be a nice upgrade for him! He also loves schedules so being able to set “alarms” is probably his favorite part lol. It functions completely seamlessly when using the Bluetooth settings. There is a ton of space for quite a bit of vitamins! He hadn’t run out of room yet. The compartments and plastic that they’re made of have a durable and thick consistently. The lock feature is probably my only complaint. My dad has MS, so his hand shakes and so many times the fingerprint has to be re done; which, is a headache. But otherwise, this is a great little everyday tool at a great price!

Great product and cheaper than the HERO.
Great item. Works well and is not as obnoxious as the HERO pill dispenser that costs a couple hundred dollars is slow at dispensing and costs almost $40 per month as a service charge. There customer support is a joke as well.

Ease of use
I bought it for my sister. She has memory issues plus is not tech savvy. Every time it went offline I had to go over and reconnect. While it worked well when connected, was not useful for my sister, had to return it.

Set it and forget it
Once I figured out that it will still distribute the pills even when it is asleep/ in standby mode, I was a lot happier. It took about 4 minutes to download the app and set it up. Overall if it continues to work like it should, I’m perfectly happy.

Device wouldn’t “wake up”. No customer service available.
Pill Dispenser would not “wake up”. Second time I have tried to order a pill dispenser of some kind from Amazon. No customer service available at Amazon that I could find. a horrible experience.
