Wow- A chair when you really need a chair!
Its a little bit short for a cane, and a little hard for a chair. However, it does both jobs and in a pinch it is SO much better than not having either (especially in chair mode), that what it can’t do perfectly it makes up for in the ready availability of the product. I have been fighting an impinged nerve root in my l4/l5/s1 area and standing is unbearable. This eases walking around with an emergency chair.In terms of nit picks. it is a little too short for me (I am 5’10) and I wish it were about an inch or two taller, but it is perfectly usable as-is at my height. I also wish it looked slightly less like a device (in terms of color scheme) that you would see in a hospital. That was in-part my fault for picking silver instead of black.

Seat feels flimsy but working fine so far, cover/bag is kind of useless.
Carrying bag is not really useful–strap too short to put across body, difficult to get cane into/out of bag with anything in bag pocket. Only used it a few times, but stool seems to work well–seat feels a little flimsy but hasn’t given out on me yet.

Very Creative Design – Relatively Stable
Such a creative design. User did not sit in it for a long period, but said feels relatively comfortable. It is light, easily expandable, and feels relatively solid. A decent height above ground for stability standing up again. Even has a lightweight shoulder carry bag. I can see a relatively stable senior taking this to a theme park for when the lines are super slow for an occasional break with sitting time. The cane portion is not adjustable in height. This was tried (at home) by a 5’5″, 150 pound, somewhat agile, adult. I feel any of these have some risk factor – they are not a chair – so think about who might be nearby to assist as needed if someone were to tip.

I want to like it but I don’t trust the plastic
It’s lightweight and easy to use, and I want to like it, BUT it’s scary to sit on. The fold out seat has two fold out wings, made of plastic, and both wings sag. IF the plastic were to break – because eventually plastic does get brittle and break – the ensuing scenario is nightmare material. I’ve been thinking of ways to reinforce the seat with some kind of separate flat piece, but….

I was very pleased with this item. I bought it because we were going on a 9 day guided tour and a lot of walking would be required. It helped me a great deal, since I had stumbled on two previous occasions and badly twisted my ankles. It is very light but also sturdy and does not look like other seats that have a cloth seat attached. The seat located on the handle takes only seconds to set up and is comfortable. It also only takes seconds to revert back to a stick. Is is more pricy than a lot others, but definitely worthy it.
