I needed a replacement after wrecking my last one by washing it in the dishwasher (it had a rubber handle that became sticky)This feel sturdy and does a great job. I don’t just use it for meat, I also pound bagged ice with it (I was traumatized by Fatal Attraction as a kid and refuse to have one in my house, even though I’m the crazy female)So far it’s stood up to being washed in the dishwasher. Pretty good price too, highly recommend.
