Beautiful, Useful, and Excellent Quality
The slide board is fantastic. It’s incredibly sturdy and is made of very thick material. This is a solid product that you’ll immediately know you can rely on as soon as you touch it. It’s very well stitched with no loose threads or frayed edges. In fact, it’s beautifully crafted. The carry handles are padded and the belts are adjustable and extra wide, with very strong clasps. In fact, although I don’t consider myself to be weak, it takes me quite a bit of effort to work the clasps. That’s a good thing. There’s no way they’re going to accidentally come undone. It was very thoughtful of the manufacturer to include adjustable shoulder straps for the carriers to use. Using the slide board is self-explanatory, and it fits perfectly into a wheelchair, making getting into it second nature. When not in use, it folds up into a 12″ x 12″ x 3″ (30.48cm x 30.48cm x 7.62cm) square that can be tucked into a bag or drawer. Mine will remain nearby because I plan on putting it to a slightly different use by “wearing” it so that I can get down on the ground without getting dirty.The stair lift is made of a different material that’s somewhat softer, but is also incredibly sturdy and well-stitched with no loose threads or frayed edges. It’s also beautifully crafted and comes with an adjustable belt and a strong clasp that’s unlikely to come undone. When not in use, you can fold it up into about a 15″ x 5″ x 2″ (38.1cm x 12.7cm x 5.08cm) rectangle that can be tucked in a bag or drawer.The manufacturer is very responsive and helpful and let me know that both items can go into the washing machine on a gentle cycle and then air-dried to maintain their durability and integrity. When I washed the stair lift yesterday evening, it fit down into the washer quite nicely and the washing machine handled it with no extra effort. When I washed toe slide board, that took a bit of creativity because of its size. What I did was put it into the washer and let it fill part of the way up with soapy water. I then reached in and used a soft brush to work some of the soapy water up onto the part that wasn’t submerged. I then let the washing machine agitate for a bit. And then, finally, I flipped the slide board over so that the other half of it was submerged and let the washing machine finish its cycle. I hung both items from hooks over the bathtub and they were fully dry by this evening.Both of these items will surely last for many years. And either or both of them would be perfect to stick into a bag on the back of your wheelchair and take along with you when you’re out and about in case you ever find yourself in a situation where a business you’d like to visit doesn’t have a wheelchair-accessible entry or has stairs. The items are easy enough to use that you could quickly teach the business people how to use them to help you in or help you up or down the stairs by using them.Both are beautiful and of excellent quality. I’d highly recommend them.

Easier and less risk of injury!
If you have to transfer a person from bed to chair, chair to car or anywhere else this thing is amazing. After accidentally causing my mom pain during transfers, I went online to search for something to help make things better for her. What i didn’t expect was for this to make things so much easier for me. I have used the hoyer to lift her and sit her in this on the edge of the bed and then carried her to the couch as well as sitting it in the wheelchair, loading her with hoyer, wheeling to the car and using it for the transfer into the car. This is where we’ve seen the biggest impact. Its so much easier on her and me and not once have I hurt her with this. She has lots of shoulder pain since the stroke. Its easier with two people but if you can lift the person solo then this will just make it easier. Highly recommended. Quality product.
