Works great!
We bought these call buttons a couple of weeks ago. They have been a great purchase for us. It works great and the ring is loud with many options for tones. We use the 6 call buttons around the house so they are in reach. She can wear it around her neck also. The battery seems to last long on the base and is rechargeable. Would highly recommend this product

Effective
We are using this as part of an in house pager system between my husband and I. The volume levels are perfect and the tone options are numerous bordering on almost ridiclous. That said, I use the vibration mode almost exclusively since alert is meant to alert whichever parent is in their office to log off and join the rest of the family. The vibrate function means my attention is grabbed but if I’m on a call or in a meeting it doesn’t disrupt anything.

Probably not for me
I just don’t know what to think about this item. The instructions in the manual were not really helpful in understanding how the unit is supposed to work but rather a technical summary. I am a computing professional and have an extensive Ring system operational, and yet I just don’t quite get how this unit is going to help me. I think I will go back to Ring and see if they have updated offerings. The last time I looked, they had emergency devices, but they weren’t pagers but rather called externally for help. We will see. I’m putting this unit aside for now.

Loud and reliable for peace of mind across the house
picked this up to have on hand for the next time my senior mom needs a bit of extra care. We share a home, and when she’s recovering from surgery or not feeling well, it can be hard for her to alert me if l’m on a different floor. We tested this alert system right away, and the sound is very loud-impossible to miss, even from across the house. The setup was simple, and it works exactly as advertised. wouldn’t say it’s fancy, but it doesn’t need to be-it just works. It gives both of us peace of mind knowing she can reach me quickly if needed. This is one of those “just in case” items hope we don’t have to use often, but I’m glad we have it.

This system is great for helping aging parents, injured people, or even sick kids. It gives them the space to have privacy but the ability to ask for help without yelling. This goes a good distance, they can reach you when you are out of shouting distance. It holds a charge for a good amount of time. You can even reverse who has the button and use it as a way to call your kids inside from the cul-de-sac. lol It makes a great dinner bell for those of us that are free range parenting.
