Customers say
Customers find these adaptive utensils effective, with thick grips making them easier to hold and maneuver, particularly for those with gripping issues. The utensils are praised for making meals easier for elderly and disabled individuals, including those with Parkinson’s disease, and one customer notes they work well for ALS patients. Customers appreciate the non-weighted design and find them easy to handle, while opinions about size are mixed, with some finding them appropriately sized while others say the large spoon is too large.

Easy to hold
Easy to hold. It’d be nice if the steak knife were sharper.

Work perfectly for someone with rheumatoid arthritis
Exactly as described. Quality set of utensils that make eating a lot easier when you have rheumatoid arthritis. Larger handles but still light weight.

This is our second set. For the money, it works well.

Independent eating
Great Utensils. Helped tremendously with being able to hold the utensil such as cutting with the knife and then picking it up with the fork to eat it. Easy to work with and brought back independence to eating for our older relative. Would recommend to anyone needing assistance. He was able to eat soup on his on for the first time in a while due to being able to keep the soup on the spoon.

While a five star overall rating would seem logical, it only deserves an overall rating of 3 stars.
The utensils are east to clean, and easy to hold. BUT THEY ARE UNPREDICTABLE AFTER A FEW MONTHS OF USE BECAUSE THE METAL PART SEPARATES FROM THE RUBBER HANDLE WHILE EATING, LEAVING THE METAL PART IN THE MOUTH as one withdraws the handle. We only use these in the privacy off our home. What a shame.

My wife suffered a stroke which affected her right side about 11 months ago. After trying several other types of cutlery, we found these, and she thinks they are the best thing since flip too beer cans. She can now eat a meal without dropping her cutlery, and they fit her hands very well so they are comfortable and effortless to use.Thank you!
