Lip saver! Fit Damon braces perfectly.
My favorite aspect:These are a lip saver! I have a coil spring on my braces that was cutting up the inside of my lip. This guard worked to cover it so my lip could heal!At first I used it on my whole mouth at night, because I had some hooks on my molars that were cutting me too, but eventually those healed and I only needed a smaller piece to cover the spring and two brackets on each side to keep it in place (both ways pictured). After a few days my lip healed and now seems to tolerate the spring and hooks without needing to wear the guard at all, unless my lip gets bumped hard enough to cut it, then I might use it for a night. The only time I would wear it during the day was for a short time if my lip was hurting and needed a break, especially if I had been singing or talking a lot.Other things I like about them:I have clear Damon braces and these guards fit them perfectly. I really like that they don’t have dividers built in like all the other brands I could find, making them more adaptable. As they heat up from the natural temperature in my mouth they form to my hooks well too. They are pretty easy to cut, but you may need to file the edge to get the cut at a good angle so it doesn’t irritate your gums. The guards are soft, flexible, and smooth, which makes them pretty comfortable for having rubbery plastic in your mouth. They are much more comfortable than the braces feel against your lips, especially those first few tender days.Negatives:They do collect spit, and can pop off a bit if they get bumped, which makes me feel the need to press on them multiple times an hour when I’ve been talking to make sure it’s still fully connected.I’ll try to remember to update my review when I get bottom braces.

Work good for Jiu-jitsu
These work great for my son who does Jiu-jitsu. We never could find a good mouth guard. They go on so easy over top of his braces. I don’t know if it matters but he just has the regular braces they put on at the beginning and not the colored ones. I’m not sure if they would fit those any different or not.

Eh
I didn’t like these main reason they are difficult to put on and but also since it’s basically a tube it collects a lot of spit. I’m going to try the clickable bumpers.

Perfect Comfort for Braces – A Must-Have!
I’ve been using the O-Brush Comfort Shield Lip Bumpers, and I can confidently say they are amazing. If you have braces and struggle with wires rubbing or irritating your lips, this product is a total game-changer. The design is simple but incredibly effective — it creates a soft barrier between your braces and your lips, instantly reducing discomfort. They’re easy to apply, stay in place well, and are discreet enough to wear throughout the day without anyone noticing. Plus, the price is great for the relief and protection they provide. I only wish I had discovered them sooner!Highly recommend to anyone with braces — your lips will thank you.

Good quality, great price!
There were others available, including one from our Orthodontist, but for more money. They work as advertised. Stay securely on even after cutting them to size. Very happy with our choice.

Too much trouble for me
I almost tossed then when they arrived because I did not recognize what they were. They are fine, but not worth the trouble to remove before each meal. I lost my original retainer that way (hence the second go-round with braces).I’ll keep looking or go back to wax.

Hurt
These hurt so bad. Obviously my teeth aren’t straight so it will pull on your brackets to get them to fit in the plastic. Took it off immediately. Maybe it should have a thinner plastic.

I seriously dont understand all the bad reviews i love this. It saves my cheeks from having holes. I only wear at night cause it does accumulate quite a bit of saliva but it definitely offers a HUGE amount of relief!

These lip bumpers actually work really well. They are easy to cut to size, fit over braces easily and create a barrier between the sharp edges of the braces and your tender cheek or lip. Are they a perfect fit? No. That would be something custom made by an orthodontist. Are these a quick fix to give you relief? Yes, absolutely! My personal experience is the bottom braces are more irritating. Wax works but can get messy and is done bit by bit. This clear plastic piece goes on in one piece. I found it to be a little bit bulky but you do get accustomed to it quickly and the warmth from your mouth helps to shape it and keep it in place. Would I eat or sleep with this cover on – NO. Am I glad I have it – YES.

This is a long rubber straw type band that you would wrap around your braces to prevent it for ripping your mouth apart. Does the same as wax. Seem okay.
