No instructions about putting in dishwasher, definitely do not microwave
No instructions were included and there are no markings on the bowl, plate, or utensils to tell you if they can go in a dishwasher. I would assume the bowl and plate should NOT be microwaved because they’re made with a softer plastic, but again, not instructions were given. Tip: Cut food on a cutting board before putting onto plate. Using the knife on the plate will cause cut marks in the plastic. The bowl and plate have inward sloping edges to make it easier to get food onto the fork or spoon and prevent spills. The utensil handles are nicely weighted, are a good diameter, and are not slippery.RECOMMENDED

Comfort
Special needs grandson loves to eat now. Food stays in the bowl and plate. He’s not embarrassed anymore.

THESE ARE AMAZING
The silverware is fantastic, it’s bendable so you can make sure it’s easy to maneuver and gives your loved one or yourself the independence to feed without worry. Even with major mobility issues, these can be bent and shaped to work for almost anyone. They’re lightweight so that it’s easy for the individual to be able to lift the food to their own mouth as well as using the dish to be able to position the food so that it’s easy to get on the silverware.

Versatile set of adaptive dinnerware to cover all your needs
I have bought other sets of adaptive, weighted cutlery, but this one is the most complete. Two types of spoons and knives! Also, the spoons and fork have the twisted neck for bending the implement toward the user, to facilitate eating even more. My mother with tremors especially likes this kind of spoon. The plate and bowl are lightweight plastic and a high-contrast red color that makes it easier for people with visual processing deficits to see their food. We also have other sets of adaptive serveware in white and blue, but red seems to be the one my mother chooses most often for some reason. I was interested in this set because the detachable suction cup base is something new thing to me. I hadn’t seen this before and was curious for my Mom to try it. It seems to be a hit. She was used to lifting up her bowl or plate to help catch the food so it took a little time for her to get used to it being stuck to the table, but once she did she ate quite independently and seemed to eat more than usual. From an observer’s perspective, she seemed to have less trouble. I think these are great items for people with dementias and tremors.

Special dinnerware for seniors
The Maxcheck 7 Pcs Spill Proof Scoop Bowl and Partitioned Plate Set is an excellent choice of dinnerware for seniors with less mobility. The suction base keeps the bowl stable, reducing spills significantly. The partitioned plate design is practical for portion control and easy access. The non-slip, weighted utensils are thoughtfully designed for users with limited dexterity, providing improved grip and stability. This set offers great functionality and ease of use, making mealtimes more comfortable and stress free for my grandpa with limited hand mobility. I gave it a 4 stars because the bowls and handles on the utensils are bigger than i thought. Overall, my grandpa likes them and I recommend them.

Easy To Work With
I was pleasantly surprised with how thick the plastic is; this is very durable. Lightweight overall, and it’s very easy to work with the suction cups. No issues sticking this to surfaces, and no wobbles while using. This was perfect for my needs for family care and a good size for the set. The utensils have great handles, no worries with grip/handle fit. The design worked well for preventing sliding and flipping – would prefer other colors and sizes.

Solid construction, good material. Bowl and plate are quite large.
Large bowl and plate. Very stable. Solid construction with good materials. The cutlery is hefty and weighted to help improve stability and works well for that. The fork and spoon are easy to adjust, but I worry about the metal fatigue affecting longevity of use. High curvature on the plate and the lip of the bowl is extremely useful. Very happy with this dining set.
