Very useful little things
The plastic is difficult to sew through but the idea is so clever and it’s really easy to hide where needed. My husband also wall mounted this in our bedroom drapes so we have superb sun blocking. He used a small screw through the plastic. We could have used glue but these are so small you can’t see them unless you’re looking. But what weirdo is going to come into your room and move your window curtain to judge this magnet being there?Very strong magnet for size. The plastic is maybe too strong but I think it’s great for what I needed. If you hate it, simply cut it off. It’s like a little pouch. It’s not like suspended in acrylic or something. Good value in my opinion. When we need more I’ll literally look through old orders before searching for new ones.

My favorite magnets in all the land
These are perfection for my bag making purposes. If any review says these are not strong, then they are just not using them correctly. One side is the strong magnetic side, one is not. Also if it’s not paired up with its original mate, they will repel each other and not attract. They are great as semi hidden magnets in my bags (all you can see is the stitching holding it). I tried other magnets that are not as strong. You know because you can pull them apart easily just on their own. These I have to wedge a little tool between the pairs to separate them. So then when there’s fabric between them also they’re still very strong. Only when I had a super thick upholstery fabric was it less strong. And you know I love these because Amazon says I’ve purchased them 9 times!

Perfect for the task.
Perfect for the task. I used these to secure outer pockets in a handbag, did the job well, easy to sew in place. Not sure if smaller ones would have secured as well so went with the somewhat larger version. I like that they have the plastic sew-in feature so I didn’t have to punch a hole in the already lined pockets.

Good little magnetic snaps
These are small, come in two different “colors”, so match a “silver” with a “gold” and the magnet is much stronger (I’m sure there is some physics involved here but I wasn’t aware of this option).They hold well through cotton fabric, not so well through leather. And they fall off my finger unlike in the picture demonstrated here!

*****EDITED/UPDATED: I take it back- go look for BETOPLIN 20mm MAGNETS here on amazon. They are strong, amazing and the ones you’ve been searching for- TRUST ME! *****I have been looking for reasonably priced, fairly strong magnets like these to sew inside as handbag clotures. I found great ones at Tandy Leather but they are between $7-9 just for one pair and homie don’t play that. I took a chance on these bc of the high ratings as well as the flat, oblong rectangular shape of them and they are EXACTLY what I was looking for. I purchased the largest ones listed here which are 10 x 30mm and I was so pleased I immediately ordered 2 more sets. I also purchased Annie’s set of two pairs of round purse closure magnets and while they are also great, these ones here are actually stronger and you get SO many for nearly the same price. Sorry Annie! If you are also searching for purse closures give these a try! I hope this review helps someone out there as I rely on them so much! 🙂

Very strong!
I love these. Needing to sew incognito magnets to leather pouches that will be strapped to the back of metal motorcycle fenders. The initial piece of the work will be connected to the motorcycle seat with bolt holes but to ensure the piece doesn’t flap around on the fender from the wind causing damage, you need strong magnets and these were surprising beyond my expectations for strength and ability to sew/glue within the fabric. Will purchase again!
