Accurate and easy to use.
I’m a dentist and needed an accurate BP cuff for my office. This brand is know for their accuracy and reliability. For the home user it has a nice feature that syncs with your phone to record the reading and you can even email a report to your doctor. I did try this feature before bringing cuff to my office and it synced easily and recorded all the readings. I can’t speak to the battery life as I’ve only had it a couple months. Will update later if there’s an issue. The curved rigid cuff make it easy to apply one handed to myself although I’m not sure how well it would work for a larger size arm that we normally used a L or XL cuff on at the office.

VERY ACCURATE IF USED PER DIAGRAM
I had a sudden need for this device and purchased this based on the overwhelming number of “most recent” positive reviews — it was an excellent decision. The cuff is “formed” so it instantly conforms to your upper arm — super easy. I chose to place it directly on my skin, not through clothing, and I received very accurate results time after time. While the display is not backlit, the numbers are very large and easily read even by the light of tv. I also used my iPhone to take photos of my readouts so I’d have time-stamped copies of each, for future reference. The diagram stitched-in to the cuff itself shows how to properly place the cuff, which is great … the instructions can never get lost! HOW: Place cuff on left arm with bottom of cuff ~ 1/2” above elbow crease; place hands “palms-up” resting on legs; with arms “palms-up” the cord should run along the top center of your arm down past your fingertips and into to the unit. Do not cross legs/ankles. Use right hand to press Start and … just relax. You’re done once the numbers appear on the screen, and you will no longer feel pressure from the cuff. It is super easy, fast, and accurate. This unit uses 2 or 3 AA Batteries, which lasts WAY longer than units using AAA Batteries.I highly recommend this unit.

excellent design and function
This BP meter reads accurate, repeatable and easy to use. the build quality is outstanding out of box, paperwork, design, materials, and performance. the Android app work as designed, without bugs. it has flaws, see con. there is no AC adapter, but I use rechargeable AA NiMH batteriesProsValidated BP machine from validatebp.orgomron unique cuff: its a semi-rigid C cuff you can clasp around your arm then velcro tighten to ease donning, versus the traditional clothlike band that you wrestle to put on used in docs offices and other makersonce set up its a one click button to get a BPyou can sync old readings by hitting the app sync button, and it syncs the contents of the or reading the onboard archive seems to engage the transmit tooconsistent reading within specification. tested using a split -t adapter to the Omron’s air tube, with a mercury baumanometer and manually measured BP using a stethoscope by a licensed MD, as well as compared against a Welch Allyn doc office metersyncs bluetooth to Android devices via registering to a website. it sends data to this website as other Android devices with the app get the data so beware your personal dataThe app allows BP graph and trend average, functional and bug freeCons, minus 1 star for the ffBesides strictly following the AMA BP measurement protocol, cuff size and placement is crucial. if the supplied cuff is correct for your arm, the instructions say to line the hose with your 3rd finger, but fails to mention insure the hose is straight to confirm the alignment. my BP readings were inconsistent vs reference bp measurements. I went looking for an ARTERY MARKER on the cuff. All BP cuffs have these. aligning the ARTERY MARKER to your ARM ARTERY is the official way, is much easier to do, and produces consistent resultsthe accuracy is within spec, but tends to read consistently 3mmHg high vs a simultaneous reference bp measurement, added to the error of a reference which is also 3mmHg, the total error is +/- 6mmHg, sometimes its equal but in 100+ measurements it never was below the reference, suggesting their algorithm does read highthe switches are very easy to actuate, its great as a stand alone home device, but its not possible to transport this in a bag without accidentally activating the machine, the bats have to be removed. it needs a separate recessed off on switch for travelersthe Omron color designations bronze, silver, gold, etc., and at the same time having model numbers are confusing and color should be abandoned. Simply naming advanced models with higher numbers is both sufficient and more accurate. As it is now, there are several ‘silver’ models with different model numbers, with only subtle differences between them

Works great
I like that there is an app that keeps track of blood pressure history and gives an average. My blood pressure was always higher at the doctor’s office than at home. To be more confident that my home blood pressures were accurate, he suggested that I buy a “validated” blood pressure machine. I decided to try this one, since it was a well known medical equipment manufacturer. I am very happy with it. It is very easy to put on and use.

Omron, the most reputable blood pressure machine, at an affordable Price
I have owned Omron products at least for 30 years, and I don’t remember ever throwing them out because they were unreliable or stopped working. They perform for years and decades. I love this blood pressure machine. At first I couln’t get used to this preformed cuff, but the more I use it, the more I like it. I love the feeling of trustworthy readings this machine displays. I am a retired nurse, so I do have some idea if any machine is giving me bogus results. This Omron measures and displays solid readings time after time and I can trust them. Buletooth functionality is bonus to me. I was pleasantly surprised that the Connect Omron app works so cleanly. I can certainly use the daily, weekly, monthly charts of my blood pressures. Omron medical staffs and engineers have designed another excellent product, Omron BP5255!

Case doesn’t fit monitor and cuff together, will need to get something that fits both.Love the machine, easy to use and accurate.

Easy, Painless and Simple
Great little cuff. It self inflates at the touch of a button and I’ve learned to adjust it so that it doesn’t pinch. Accurate readings of blood pressure and heart rate. I’m guessing it does other stuff but I’m, well, a guy. So I’ll eventually read the instructions (probably). In the mean time, it gives me the info I need.

Great device, reasonably sized cuff that fits me at 5’4″, 140lbs, and my husband who is 5’11” and 240lbs. Works as expected, good bluetooth integration.

I purchased this due to apparent inconsistencies between my Doctor’s readings and my other brand monitor. Turns out that the Omron machine gives almost exactly the same readings as my other machine…Unless by some chance both machines are inaccurate by the same amount, I’d say that this is a good indication of accuracy. I will, if course, compare this monotor to the pharmacy monitor. The cuff is really a joy to use as it automatically wraps around your arm, then you just secure it with the velcro flap. Very easy to do with one hand.Readings are quick and quiet, and once the reading is on the display the numbers will be transferred to the app via the Bluetooth connection, so that you have an automatic history to review, or share with your Doctor.I really like this monitor, and I would recommend it
