Customers say
Customers find the chicken shredder works well, quickly turning meat into perfectly shredded pieces, and appreciate its ease of use, with one noting it’s easier than using forks. The product is praised for its build quality, being substantial enough to perform the job well, and comes with a brush for easy cleaning. Customers consider it a time-saver, saving about 20 minutes per recipe, and find it well worth the price. While some customers say it stays put while shredding, others mention it tends to slide around somewhat during use.

Great time saving product.
Really great, time-saving tool to shred meat. It is dirty, easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store.

Best Kitchen Tool Ever!
Every time I use this tool to shred my chicken, I say “I’ve got to tell people about this!” I’m going to do that after this review. I make shredded chicken often, for tortilla soup, tacos, and enchiladas; sometimes chicken salad sandwiches. I used to struggle with the two-fork method; then I bought those big claws. Still struggled. This item is amazing. It truly grips to the counter or cutting board and with hardly any effort at all, my chicken gets shredded so good and without any frustration. Cleans up so easily. I love it!

Make sure your surface is absolutely level
I read the reviews and watched some of the videos. I decided to give this a try. Thank you to the man who said not to put in a whole chicken beast. I did, but I broke it up into pieces. I tried shredding the meat on the kitchen counter but the shredder moved all over the counter. I then took the shredder to my table and it worked great, my chicken was shredded in no time. My kitchen counter may look smooth, but in actuality it’s not. I’ve had coffee cups wobble on the counter because it’s not level. I’ll try shredding again on the kitchen counter with less meat, but I suspect I will have the same results of the shredder moving all over the counter. I’ll update after I try.So for those out there who have struggled with this shredder moving around, try a different surface. The weight is light, blade sharpness is good for shredding, suction is good as long as the surface is absolutely level. Storage of the device is ok, it won’t fit back in the box once the handles are put on, but who needs the box? The plastic seems good quality, but time will tell.Ease of use is good and most anyone could use this. I no longer have the strength I used to and I was able to use this with ease once I got it on a level surface.

Works great but not as quickly as the videos
This gadget is really controversial — people like it or they hate it. I like it. But it IS really over-hyped.Pros*It mostly works. I’ve had no problem shredding freshly cooked chicken. It does a lousy job at cold chicken and isn’t designed for raw meat at all.*It stays where I put it on my granite countertop if I press hard enough to shred the chicken. The one place where it slipped on an uneven surface, I just put it on a silicone trivet.*I haven’t had any plastic blades break off (yet) on either of these that I’ve bought for house and guest apartment. It’s too expensive for a kitchen gadget for it to be disposable but it won’t work well if a blade breaks off and I’d hate to serve broken plastic.*I don’t precut my chicken breast after cooking. I just throw it in the shredder, put the lid on, and give it a few twists to get it started. A thick breast sinks down pretty quickly, after which I go back and forth and round and round. But this where some people get frustrated. I usually have to stop, pull the the unshredded chicken piece out, flip, and place it back in the shredder off-center and shred some more. For me, it’s still faster than forks or Bear Paw shredders.Cons*Having to stop to flip the meat. Not the biggest problem but adds a step.*Clean up can be a pain. I scrape as much meat out as I can then rinse the residue into the garbage disposer. I don’t lose much chicken but it’s not nearly zero like I get with forks or Bear Paws. Then I wash in the dishwasher, top rack only. It’s always been OK in the dishwasher. I would not use the shredder without a dishwasher — too hard to clean.*The biggest complaint I have (and I knew it was coming) is the one a lot of people have: storage. It’s as big and thick as a medium skillet and isn’t easy to store in a small-ish kitchen. It might be impossible to store in an efficiency kitchen.

Huge Time Saver
If you, like I was, are wondering if you really need another kitchen gadget taking up space in your cabinets, I’m here to tell you that you absolutely do. Our family shreds chicken multiple times a week and this has changed a 20 minute process to a 5 minute process max. It is so simple to use, so effective, and eliminated my dread about shredding yet another Costco sized chicken breast. I wish I had found this 5 years ago. I would probably have had time to solve many more Wordles.

Works great, easy to clean and store.
This tool is awesome. I frequently cook chicken for recipes, and have been shredding the meat with two forks. It’s tedious and messy. This tool is great for shredding chicken or other cooked meats. Easy to use and easy

Works as described
Bought because I seem to struggle shredding any time of beef, chicken, pork. Used last night to shred chicken. Cut up the chicken into chunks & put onto the bottom plate. Worked so fast & easy. Love this new gadget for my kitchen.

Aah, this is amazing! Currently, I cook chicken breasts in the pressure cooker, shred them, mix them with cheese and an egg to make an ultra-low-carb pizza base.Previously, I used an electric whisk after seeing a YouTube hack, but I’m not sure how robust my mixer is before it breaks, and it can throw bits all sorts of places if you’re not careful. Then I saw this and knew it was just perfect.I tear a large cooked chicken breast into about three pieces and go to town on it. It’s very quick – 15-20 seconds, and it’s shredded perfectly for a salad. Give it another 15-20 seconds (max!), and the bits are smaller than my previous method, making them perfect for my pizza bases! It’s easy (ish) to clean, just watch you don’t keep stabbing yourself on the spikes like I did trying to get a sponge in all the areas.

Amazing find in general, but we use it to feed our 15 year old dog, it chops the meat in seconds, and makes our doggo very happy with fresh and bite size pieces of chimken.

Vraiment top, et le petit outil qui permet de le laver, rend le nettoyage très facile !!
