Piece of Mind for Navigating the Shower and Tub!
I am mid 70’s and needed a “grab bar” I could install that was cost efficient! This one fit the bill. Easy to assemble using my tools, (not that toy wrench supplied) I affixed this to the tub wall as pictured. I am pleased it is sturdy, and gives me piece of mind when showering. If I should need to “stop a fall,” this will support my weight, and give me a “grab” zone other than a soap dish and towel bar! Fair price and no help needed to install if you are handy with tools!

Looks nice and is very stable making use of tub eaiser.
Well made grab bar for bath tub. I had to change the angle of the part over the tub wall for snug fit. The bar is very stable for getting in/out of tub. Being close to the toilet it makes standing/sitting on toilet much easier.

Looks a bit skimpy but surprises you.
The wife is having some balance problems, but I did not want a trip hazard when she got in and out of the tub. I am saving for a shower conversion, but they are thousands of dollars, so this will have to do. It clamps on tightly. Tip: If your toilet is directly in front of the tub, that is, the back end, you can place this on that end, and it can assist you in getting up off the pot. If you are like me and have to get up in the middle of the night to pee, I was surprised at how nice it is to reach over and get a little help getting back on my feet. Good product.

Dangerous if are parts missing; parts are missing
Do NOT even try to install if not all parts are present, it will be unstable and VERY DANGEROUS.Willing to bet the people who have had stability issues with this product did not notice missing parts from the “pre-assembled bracket.”I looked at the service area of the website, which says to fill out the form on that page – there is no form on that page. So I called – message says they no longer take calls and to email. That’s frustrating.

A bit difficult to install.
Bigger and heavier than expected, but that’s a good thing! The instructions don’t tell you that you have to back out the bolt they put in to adapt it to the width of your tub side. This takes a tool from your stash, an adjustable wrench. The bolt they left you with takes patience and dexterity to get right. Read instructions carefully but insert your own knowledge to complete the job. Also two extra hands didn’t hurt. Beware this took up half the length of my tub. So I placed it at opposite end of faucets. Which direction you have the high part facing is up to you. There’s no indication in the directions.

Extremely sturdy
You will need a 12mm socket or flat wrench to assemble it because The TOY WRENCH THAT COMES WITH IT IS USELESS! The 12mm socket wrench was extremely useful for tightening the bathtub bolts while the flat wrench was needed for tightening the railing bolts. There were a lot of negative reports that this railing was wobbly and unsteady but the authors must have used that TOY wrench to assemble it. I bought this railing to help prevent me from falling off the toilet and into the bathtub. I used to have to sit with my walker wrapped around me (like a cage) in case I might pass out while sitting on the commode. It has happened before. I also find it to be handy for getting on/off the commode with the aid of a short railing attached to the nearby vanity cabinet.

Great Product. Would be even better if all the parts had been included
This bathtub bar is great. It’s plenty sturdy.I’m giving it a low rating, though, because several parts were missing when it arrived – specifically, two stainless steel washers and two nuts.We had to stop the installation, run to town, and get the hardware – which wasn’t cheap because it had to be stainless steel. After that, the installation went without a hitch. We’re younger and had no other issues. But what if the user was considerably older, or with mobility issues? Bad problem to have, so it gets a lower rating.
