Great for Home and School
As a special education teacher and a mom, these are my favorite visual timers. I use them in my classroom for time management and at home. They look good, sound good, and hold up well. These go clockwise, showing the passage of time the same way a clock does, which will lead nicely into telling time on a clock, most other timers go counter clockwise. I have 3 Time Timers in my classroom of various sizes and one at home.

A useful ADHD tool
I have six Time Timers at this point, one in each room and in my bag for travel. It’s not going to solve all of my ADHD problems, but it is really effective at the one thing it does: simple to set and tells me how much time is left in one glance. This means I don’t have to use my phone as a timer while cooking or doing chores, which saves me from that distraction pitfall. Also the range of Mod colors makes them fun to look at.

Time Timer MOD – Rainbow Wheel
I got this for my kiddo to visually see how long until we can do something or how long until he has to put down his iPad. We also used it a few times during Thanksgiving so Mom would have an extra timer. I wish it had some type of indication that it was wound up, you just move it smoothly to the spot you want and then it starts to work, but you aren’t given any indication that this is the case, other than trial and error. You can have the timer with a noise at the end of the time period or without noise (which seems a bit odd, but it might work for others). I like that it has the colors and that my kiddo can utilize it on his own (5 year old). Overall, this has been a nice addition for my parenting, the only oddity is that it doesn’t give any indication that the timer has started.

Purchased for my child who has a short attention span. I have adhd myself and find it very useful! Will be purchasing second one for myself. Have no issues with functional or mechanisms. I would recommend this clock!
