Pill Dispenser With Alarm and Lock Features
If you need an insistent audible and visual alarm to remind you to take your meds, this pill dispenser may be for you. It combines a circular pillbox having 28 compartments with automation to rotate the box to the next compartment and sound (and flash) a alarm to remind you to take the meds in a given compartment at the appointed time. It operates with 4 AA batteries (included). There are 9 label overlays to set up the dispenser for various numbers of times per day for the reminders. For 1x a day, the capacity is 28 days, 2x – 14 days, and so on up to 6x -4 days. Although there are 9 rings, there are only 6 variations – there are 2 2x rings and 3 3x rings to accommodate different schedules. To set up your meds, you put the correct overlay on the device and then fill each compartment with the appropriate pills. The dispenser can be locked for security and 2 keys are included. There are good instructions on putting the batteries in and opening the box to put your meds in the compartments. The schedule is set up manually via buttons and the LCD screen on top of the pillbox. This process is a little tedious but the instructions do a good job of walking you through the process. Just take your time and you’ll get there.Once set up the pillbox works pretty well. It sounds and flashes the alarm at the appointed time and rotates the box to the next compartment.I don’t think this is a pillbox you would use while travelling if space in your suitcase is at a premium. I think it would be great to set up for an elderly person or anyone who needs reminders to take meds. It’s a little pricy but if an automated pill dispenser appeals to you and you can handle the price, this one is worth a look.

Don’t Buy!
This is very difficult to use. The nurse spent a long time figuring out how to use it. She is young and tech savvy. We have our fingers crossed it will work. I may still send it back. I do not recommend this product.

Practical and Reliable Medication Management
EziMedPil Automatic Pill Dispenser – Reviewed July 2025.I initially bought the EziMedPil Automatic Pill Dispenser hoping it would help me stay organized with my medication, and it truly delivered on that promise. The alarm feature is a standout; it’s persistent and grabs attention, ensuring I don’t miss any doses. The clear lid is a great touch too, as it allows me to see the pills and plan accordingly. Setting up the dispenser was straightforward, and I appreciated that batteries were included, making it ready to use out of the box. It’s also surprisingly portable despite its dinner plate size, making it easy to take along on trips. While there are more expensive smart versions out there, this is a great budget-friendly option. A minor drawback is that if the dispenser is accidentally set down upside down, the alarm stops sounding, potentially causing missed doses. Additionally, the key locking mechanism can be cumbersome. A big clip to close or lock it instead of a key would be more user-friendly, or if a key is necessary, placing the lock on the top would make it easier to access. Despite these minor flaws, the dispenser aids in medication management effectively, offering a solid solution for those needing to stay on track with their regimen while keeping costs down. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for anyone looking for functionality without breaking the bank.

Works
Ok, first this is large. It’s not your typical “seven day pill box”. I fill it with two weeks of supplements. Once in the morning and once after supper. I have turned off the alarm (that got a little annoying) but the lights still flash when it’s time for my supplements. Each compartment holds a lot. It automatically rotates to the next compartment of pills/supplements at the correct time and alerts you.

large dispenser with great features
Wow, this was bigger than I expected, but it’s incredibly helpful for my mother who has to take meds in the morning and then in the evening, and she’s struggling sometimes to remember to take them. The dispenser can hold a lot of different types of pills, and you get little rings to put on the interior to show if it’s once a day or twice a day. When it’s time for the meds to be dispensed, the unit flashes and beeps until you pick it up or open it (you can turn it on its side to stop the beeping if you need to skip a dose) and the top locks down so you don’t have to worry about little ones getting into it. This is a fantastic way to track meds! Runs on regular batteries.

Such a big help
This works exactly as it should. Setting the time and the alarms is easy. There are multiple rings for however many doses you need per day. It comes with 2 keys and batteries as well. It rotates on its own when the alarm is about to go off for your scheduled dose. The only small gripe I have is that the magnification circle doesn’t really allow you to view your medicines as the label covers it up. So it’s kind of pointless. I didn’t deduct any stars since it’s not really necessary anyway. You can check the medications when they come out. I tried to upload a video multiple times but couldn’t. Anyway, I highly recommend.
