So far? Excellent!
I’m not going pretend to understand the science behind this product, but I’ve used it for a little while, and I’m comfortable speaking as to my personal experiences. It looks and works as you would expect. The unit is the size of a deck of cards, and it comes with four sets of wires, and some electrodes. The wires connect the electrodes to the unit. The electrodes stick on to your skin in a way that you have possibly experienced in a hospital or therapeutic setting. Just put a few drops of water on them and they adhere to skin nicely.Once you are hooked up, you have your choice of 24 settings for the type of treatment that you want, and then within that type, you can choose the strength of the treatment that you want. As other reviewers have mentioned, for being a small rechargeable unit, the higher settings are surprisingly powerful. So, what exactly are these treatments, and what do they do? How does it feel? The treatments work by transmitting an electrical current into your skin. The electricity stored in the unit travels through the wires into the electrodes, and into your skin. So, what’s good about that? The electricity doesn’t just go skin deep. It goes into the underlying muscles, and that’s where the magic happens. The electrical stimulation causes your muscles to have some activity. It can be just a tiny tingle, or a much stronger effect. I didn’t really entire believe that something small and rechargeable could have a big effect. However, at medium settings, the effect can be strong enough to make the muscles below the electrodes twitch, or even clench and contract. So, what’s that good for? Recently, I had one of those nasty bugs that caused me to cough so hard that I had sore muscles in my back, sides, and abdomen. I put the electrodes onto the affected areas and used a low setting. The little tingle that the electricity put into the sore muscles was very soothing, just the thing I like that I needed. It can handle other issues as well, such as keeping muscles from atrophy if they can’t be normally used. It can range from what feels like a gentle massage all the way to what feels like actually working the muscles.I ran it by my physical therapist, just to be safe, and she gave me the green light.I don’t want to promise you’ll have some sort of miracle, but I can honestly say that I am quite happy with my results so far. Just based on what I’ve experienced so far, if I tried this out at a friend’s house, I would have easily believed that this product could sell for $250-$350. Naturally, it feels to me like a bargain. I’m even willing to say that if I wasn’t one who steers clear of other people’s health (because I’m not a doctor), I’d recommend this to friends and family. I’m even considering breaking my own rule and giving one or two as a gift.So yeah, that all sounds too good to be true to me, and I’m the one who wrote it!TL; DR – I like this little gadget a lot!

The AUVON TENS Model AS8016 is also an EMS
My old, other brand TENS/EMS unit needed to be replaced & I was excited to find a dual channel unit that can run 2 modes independently! I received this yesterday and have used it for 2-60 minute sessions. It was fully charged out of the box. The user manual is easy to understand. It actually feels like holding a cell phone. I love that it has a locking feature…no more accidental cancelling the session. One thing the manual doesn’t tell you is you can long press the mode button to more quickly go to each master program mode, then short press to choose the sub-mode…makes it a little quicker to move through the modes. The lowest intensity is very low…which is good. Some units start out too high, which can be painful depending on the need. What I like:* Lock feature* 2 channels, each with 2 ports (4 ports total)* Each channel can run a different mode independent of the other.* Each channel can be a different intensity* Small enough to fit in your back pocket* Good range of low to high intensities* USB rechargeable…no more batteries!* Good quality pads in 2 sizes. What I would update:* Include a clip…sometimes you don’t have a pocket* Wish you could move backwards through the modes* Design it so the lead wire pushes flush to the unit. Right now there’s a gap and I’m afraid I’ll push too hard and dislodge the inner workings. (Happened before on a different unit.)I’ve only had it 2 days, so I’ll update if anything changes, but I’m happy with it’s performance and the pain relief I receive!

Good product — recommended to me by friend.
Arrived same day as purchase. A little trial and error to work the console, but easy to use once you figure it out (read instructions carefully … they are short and sweet). Just started using it and have experience some pain relief.

Mind-Blowing Pain Relief!
Y’all, gather around because I’ve got something to share that’s gonna change your pain game forever! The AUVON 4 Outputs TENS Unit EMS Muscle Stimulator Machine is an absolute game-changer! I’m seriously mind-blown by the pain relief this bad boy delivers.First things first, this thing is like a wizard for pain. I’ve been dealing with nagging muscle aches and pains for years, and this machine is my new best friend. It’s got four output channels, so you can target multiple areas at once, which is like having your personal army of pain relief right at your fingertips. The variety of programs and intensity levels is bananas! You can customize your treatment like a boss. Whether it’s post-workout soreness, back pain, or just a crick in the neck, this baby’s got you covered. The EMS muscle stimulation function is like a mini workout for your muscles – it’s like magic, seriously! The battery life is insane. I charged it once, and it’s been going strong for weeks. Plus, it’s portable, so you can take it with you wherever you go. Pain doesn’t stand a chance! And guess what? It’s user-friendly AF. You don’t need a degree in rocket science to operate this thing. The LCD screen and buttons make it a breeze to use, even for tech-challenged folks like me.Okay, there’s a reason I didn’t give it six stars. It could use a little more guidance in the manual on where to place the electrodes for different types of pain, but honestly, it’s not that hard to figure out.In summary, if you’ve been dealing with pain and haven’t tried the AUVON 4 Outputs TENS Unit EMS Muscle Stimulator Machine, you’re seriously missing out! It’s like having your personal pain-fighting superhero. Do yourself a favor and click that “Add to Cart” button now – you won’t regret it! 💪😍 #PainReliefGuru

I have used it before. Highly recommended. You do not need pain killer and such like as there are no side effects. Use the Avon 4 Output. This an excellent asset. It really help reduce aches and back pains etc. Do read and follow the clear instructions and advice please. Works very efficiently. The current price reduction of -28% makes it even more affordable .. I bought two,- one for my wife and one for me. It’s very compact. The sticky pads attachments last and last. Store them away carefully after each use and they last forever. Hope this helps.

I have an issue with my shoulders, recently I blew the Right one to the point of pain around the clock and no relief. I have another brand of Tens but it wasn’t getting me the results, along with doing the exercises/therapy for Frozen Shoulder Syndrome. The price was good on Auvon Brand, this one and I went for the Replacement Pads as well, always like to have spares on hand, along with the Ultrasound Gel to get the best results.Features — Great that you can set everything up and hit the Lock button, if you are handling it or pick it up while using, it can’t change settings and leave you scrambling to get back to your choice.Great that it has the option for 4 Channels of relief and you can do both shoulders (like me) at the same time!Great that it has so many different preset programs AND you know if you are using it on TENS or EMS, Tens is better for pain in my experience, especially when the muscles are already contracted. One of my fave settings is very similar to an Acupuncture Treatment.Great little machine at an awesome price! I also purchased a Hard Cover Case to keep everything together.

I was initially skeptical. Being that it is battery operated and small. I did not want to buy it. I felt I wanted something that plugged in the wall that would have power and would prefer similar to the machine at the Physio therapist office. It does a great job – pass work well and I’m absolutely blown away by the amount of power it has for its size – also the battery last an amazing amount of time. Easy to use and well made. I’m truly impressed. I gave it to my brother and my new one arrives today – you will not be disappointed!

This is the second time I’ve bought on of these. Its so much more versatile having 4 outputs rather than 2 which is ideal for someone who often has to trest multiple sources of pain at the same time. Its the easiest to use than any other TENS ive tried over the years (including the super expensive wireless ones). Electrodes are good too. Very sticky and easily refreshed with a little water. Great price, great results. I wish it came with its own case that cant store wires pads and machine in one place. The only storage thing it comes with is a drawstring bag to fit just the machine. Although you can store it in the in the box fine, there could be another storage solution to make it more compact to travel with. I used an old case from my previous tens machine.

For the things I like about it first: The size, it’s very compact, looks like a small cellphone in the hands. My previous unit was extremely long and cumbersome, so I’m really appreciating the smaller size. The screen is very clear and nice to read, some with vision problems might struggle to see the smaller “modes” selections, but I think overall it’s quite good. As someone who constantly accidentally shut off or changed programs when bumping my old TENS machine, I LOVE the lock button, it’s essential in a TENS machine for me going forward. The overall quality is quite good, feels well-built when holding, doesn’t feel like cheap plastic whatsoever. The pads and the cords are great, these pads STICK. I’ve had difficulty finding a good pad that doesn’t lift and zap me, these could double as waxing strips as far as I’m concerned, but I’d rather that than not sticky enough. Also the cords are of nice length, my old one had extremely long cords and it become so cumbersome, these are perfect. The time adjustment is nice, with a max of 90 minutes. Controls are easy to understand and use. As for the battery, it seems to be really good, I haven’t charged it in days of moderate use, I also really appreciate it has an internal battery at all, I was going through too many AAA in my last TENS unit. Lastly, it has a nice carrying pouch to prevent screen scratches when in your pockets and such. For the things I think could be improved: While it’s small size almost guarantees it will fit in your pocket among all your other daily items, a clip would be really nice to have. Perhaps I just need to adjust, but I miss my old TENS programs. I find these aren’t as varied, and many of them I cannot even tell the difference, I feel they could have added a lot more variation, that’s probably my biggest gripe. I also prefer using some of the TENS programs as EMS, as the EMS settings aren’t quite what I was looking for in terms of patterns. Even with this unit on full battery, I still feel my old TENS unit packed a far bigger punch, though with that said I think it’s still powerful enough, there just isn’t much overhead (I’ve also only used 2 cords at a time, so if you’re using all 4 cords it may lower the power of each pad even more).Overall, I think you’ll be quite happy with this unit as I have been. This company seems to be highly regarded and I think this unit will last for years to come.
